Curtis Pritchard admits ex Amy Hart ‘taught me a lesson’ after THAT iconic coffee scene as he prepares to join Love Island: All Stars cast

Curtis Pritchard admits ex Amy Hart 'taught me a lesson' after THAT iconic coffee scene as he prepares to join Love Island: All Stars cast

During the 2019 season of Love Island, Curtis Pritchard acknowledges that his former partner, Amy Hart, was instrumental in teaching him a valuable lesson following their emotional separation.

28-year-old TV personality will be back on the show, seeking another opportunity at finding love. He’s teaming up with host Maya Jama and a fresh batch of past singles in the luxurious South African villa for the new season of All Stars.

The skilled dancer confessed that he plans to rejoin the program, bringing a fresh outlook, as he currently finds himself at a different point in his life’s journey.

While residing at the villa, Curtis developed romantic feelings for a former flight attendant named Amy. However, he later ended things with her to chase after his emotions towards Maura Higgins, who is no longer his girlfriend.

Ever since my stint on the show, a video clip of me has been circulating that I can’t seem to shake off. In this clip, I humbly asked Curtis something that had been on my mind: ‘If someone genuinely likes you, they would cherish a cozy morning cuddle in bed with you.’

In response, he said: ‘I’m aware and I aspire to be the one who rises early to brew coffee for all, ensuring we’re all prepared for the day ahead.’

Amy, feeling heartbroken, decided to depart from the show to avoid witnessing Curtis and Maura’s growing romance within the villa.

Discussing the popular ‘coffee video’ prior to his All-Star performance, he confessed it seems to be following him around everywhere.

Looking back now, it seems that if I were to meet a woman this time around, I might choose to snuggle with her in bed instead of brewing coffee – and that’s quite the lesson Amy has imparted on me.

He explained his reasons for coming back to the show: “I feel like I’m at a different point in my life. The thought of settling down is becoming more serious for me. So far, I haven’t found the one who truly captivates my heart… doesn’t that sound a bit cliche?

‘Since we had such a wonderful experience the last time, filled with intense emotions, I can’t wait to try it again! I am eagerly anticipating another round of excitement and perhaps making a new connection this time around.’

Amy recently got married to Sam Rason; they exchanged vows in Spain back in September of last year, one year following their engagement announcement. The happy couple is parents to a 22-month-old boy named Stanley.

In the meantime, it appears that Curtis’ ex-partner, Maura, may be concerned that he could reveal details about their previous relationship.

The pair first connected in the villa, where the pair ended up finishing in fourth place.

Regardless of the initial passion, the relationship ended after only eight months due to whispers of unfaithfulness from both parties – accusations they’ve both dismissed as false.

More recently, Maura garnered attention on television during her time in the jungle, discussing her relationship with TOWIE celebrity Pete Wicks openly. Now, it appears that Curtis might re-emerge into the public eye.

According to a source, it feels quite uncomfortable for Maura that Curtis might join the All Stars team now, given her current romantic involvement with Pete and their recent announcement of their relationship.

In my expert opinion, my split with Curtis wasn’t exactly smooth sailing, as I had concerns about him potentially spilling our private matters publicly. This situation doesn’t align well with my aspirations to further establish my public image from “I’m A Celebrity” and propel my career forward.

The producers of Love Island are finalizing the cast for the upcoming season in January, and it appears that Curtis may not be part of the initial group. However, there’s a possibility he could join the show as a surprise entry at a later stage.

TopMob contacted a representative for Maura for further comment.
