Tale of the tape – CTBC Flying Oyster and Team Secret Whales
These two teams are facing off in the playoffs for the second time at the LCP 2025 Season Finals. After both teams won their first playoff matches, they competed in Round 2, where CFO won 2-1, sending TSW to the lower bracket. TSW then fought their way back through the lower bracket, defeating Vikings Esports, GAM Esports, and PSG Talon to earn another chance against CFO.

CTBC Flying Oyster completely dominated the season, winning every match and finishing undefeated.
LCP 2025 Grand Final – CFO vs TSW
The LCP 2025 grand final culminated in the Tiên Sơn Sports Palace in Đà Nẵng, Vietnam.

The first game suggested a competitive series, with TSW initially winning smaller fights. However, CFO’s better teamwork in larger battles allowed them to take control and win.
The second game was much more lopsided. The CFO’s team dominated from the start and quickly defeated their opponents.

The third game played out much like the first, with TSW struggling to turn early advantages into wins. They had a particularly difficult time dealing with Akali, played by CFO’s midlaner, Tsai “HongQ” Ming-hong, who dominated the early stages of the game.
The CTBC Flying Oysters have proven they are the top team in the region by winning the first-ever LCP championship. This victory also qualifies them for the 2025 World Championship, where they’ll represent the region as the first seed. Team Secret Whales and PSG Talon will join them at Worlds as the second and third seeds, respectively.
Thanks to his heroics and consistency, HongQ was awarded the Finals MVP award.

HongQ said he was thrilled with their 3-0 win and becoming champions, praising his teammates for a great performance. He also noted the energetic atmosphere created by the large crowd at the stadium.
The 2025 League of Legends World Championship begins on October 14, 2025.
