Cruz Beckham shares message about ‘brotherly love’ before cryptically requesting to ‘talk it out’ – as family feud with brother Brooklyn rumbles on

Cruz Beckham seemed to suggest he’s open to resolving his conflict with his brother Brooklyn, posting a message about communicating and the importance of family bonds.

On Thursday, the 20-year-old singer shared a heartwarming video on Instagram of her brother giving her a guitar. She captioned it ‘brotherly love’ and followed it up with a close-up selfie and the message: ‘Life is too short to be silent, at least talk things through’.

In a selfie, Cruz looked like he was about to cry and used a smiling-crying emoji, clearly showing how upset he was about the disagreement.

He first shared the phrase ‘brotherly love’, then a photo of a guitar with the word ‘Thanks’ written on it, followed by a heartfelt quote.

Cruz is the youngest of David and Victoria Beckham’s four children, joining his brothers Brooklyn, 26, and Romeo, 23, and sister Harper, 14. The family has generally kept quiet about this matter, making Cruz’s recent post a significant development.

The family has been distant since a disagreement with Brooklyn, and things escalated in May when he and his wife, Nicola Peltz, didn’t attend his father’s 50th birthday party. Adding to the tension, Brooklyn’s brothers, Cruz and Romeo, stopped following him on Instagram.

In a recent interview on James Corden’s podcast, This Life of Mine, David discussed his approach to parenting, describing it as ‘soft,’ and opened up about family life with his wife, Victoria, and their children.

The famous footballer, age 50, shared that he parents differently than his father did, avoiding a strict, demanding style. He explained that he and his wife raised their children with the same core principles of respect and good character that his own parents instilled in him and his siblings.

My children are incredibly polite and well-behaved. We’re especially proud that they share our values and are humble individuals – it’s the most rewarding part of being parents.

David explained that he parents differently than his father did, being more gentle with his children. However, he also recognizes he shares some of the same personality traits with his dad.

The interview was filmed last year, but wasn’t made public until this week. This release comes as tensions remain high between David and Brooklyn, who didn’t attend his father’s recent knighthood ceremony at Windsor Castle.

Instead of congratulating his father on finally achieving a lifelong goal, the young chef apparently used the award ceremony as an opportunity to advertise his hot sauce company, Cloud23.

David was accompanied at the special event by his wife, Victoria, his parents, Ted and Sandra, and his three youngest children.

Brooklyn’s decision not to be there said a lot about how distant he’s become from his family. People close to the situation say this distance has grown since he married American actress Nicola.

David emphasized the importance of family, saying his four children are the greatest gift Victoria has given him. They’ve built a wonderful life together centered around those amazing children, who are now the most important thing in their lives.

He admitted he wasn’t as tough as his father, but he still found ways to keep his kids in line, using his own approach.

He explained that when his sons – all former players at the Arsenal Academy – didn’t play well, he doesn’t offer criticism. Instead, he stays silent, letting them understand for themselves whether he’s pleased with their performance.

He shared a story about promising his youngest son, Cruz, a trip to McDonald’s if he played well and gave his best effort during a game.
