Cruz Beckham confirms mum Victoria has removed all of her tattoos including tributes to husband David after she said they ‘weren’t pretty’

Cruz Beckham shared that his mother, Victoria, has had all of her tattoos removed, even the ones dedicated to her husband, David.

Victoria Beckham, the former Spice Girl who now designs fashion, used to have six tattoos. One notable tattoo was a Hebrew poem on her back.

Her youngest son, 21-year-old Cruz, has told curious fans that she’s had them all taken out.

During an Instagram Q&A on Wednesday, a fan asked if Victoria Beckham has any tattoos, noting that her husband, David, has quite a few.

Cruz replied: ‘No not anymore x.’

Victoria used to have a tattoo on her left wrist featuring her husband’s initials, DB, and the phrase ‘Together, forever, eternally’ written in Hebrew. She got it to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary.

Beneath the image were the Roman numerals VIII-V-MMVI, representing May 8, 2006 – the date she and her husband, David, who was 50 at the time, reaffirmed their marriage vows.

Directly above, she had the words ‘De Integro’, which mean ‘again from the start’.

Victoria Beckham has five stars tattooed on her lower back, each symbolizing a member of her family: herself, her husband David, and their three sons, Cruz, Romeo, and Brooklyn, who is 27.

It’s unclear whether Victoria Beckham added a fifth star to her nickname, ‘Posh Spice,’ to represent her daughter Harper after she was born in 2011.

A Hebrew poem was tattooed on her upper back, reading: ‘I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine, gazing among the lilies.’

The sizable tattoo, which she used to display with pride and David also has, means ‘I belong to my beloved, and my beloved belongs to me.’

Victoria has been working to change her image for a while now. Back in 2022, she addressed concerns from observant fans who noticed her tattoos were fading.

People were surprised and curious after noticing she’d removed the tattoos on her wrist in a recent beauty video.

Appearing on The Today Show, she shared that she got the tattoos a long time ago and they weren’t very subtle.

My nails were a bit thick and had some minor bleeding, so they didn’t look their best. It was just a cosmetic issue, nothing serious.

She concluded: ‘I was just a bit sick of the tattoo. It’s as simple as that.’

Laser tattoo removal works by using coloured light to shatter the tattoo ink into tiny pieces. The body then naturally gets rid of these fragments through the liver and digestive system. Costs vary depending on the tattoo’s size, but you can generally expect to pay around £150 for a small tattoo and up to £800 for a larger one per session at a private clinic.

Eight to 10 sessions are typically needed for large tattoos.

The removal process can be temporarily painful, causing blisters and redness, and tattoos rarely fade away completely. Statistics indicate that around 1 in 5 people in Britain have at least one tattoo.

Victoria used to have tattoos but has had them removed. However, her husband still has many, and their sons have tattoos as well.

In January, Brooklyn publicly announced he was cutting off contact with his family, stating he doesn’t want to repair his relationship with his parents and claiming they had controlled him throughout his life.

Since then, Brooklyn has covered up many of his tattoos, including one dedicated to his father.

I’ve noticed Brooklyn still has a couple of meaningful tattoos visible – he’s kept the ‘brotherhood’ ink on his right leg, and a sweet ballerina tattoo on his calf. That ballerina is especially touching, as he got it to honor his little sister, Harper, who’s fourteen now.

Brooklyn got a tattoo that matches those his brothers, Romeo and Cruz, received in 2023. They all visited the same tattoo artist, Pablo, who goes by ‘Certified Letter Boy’ online.

While Brooklyn and Romeo both have the design on their leg, Cruz has the inking on his hand.

Brooklyn Beckham recently covered up a tattoo he had of the word ‘Dad’ on his upper right arm. The tattoo was a tribute to his father, David.

Just below that, the message read ‘Love you Bust’ – David’s sweet nickname for his oldest child.

Recent photos revealed that Brooklyn has camouflaged it with simple shapes and a star.

His dad’s nickname text is also faded and less prominent.

Brooklyn used to have tattoos of his siblings’ names – Romeo, Cruz, and Harper – on his fingers, but he’s since had them covered up.

In 2019, the man, who considers himself a tattoo enthusiast, got the words ‘mama’s boy’ tattooed on his chest as a tribute to his mother, Victoria, who is a fashion designer.

Last June, Brooklyn Beckham posed shirtless for a photoshoot with Nicola Peltz for Glamour Germany, and the resulting photos were quite revealing.

While their conflict continued, a photoshoot for Glamour magazine showed that Brooklyn had completely covered up the tattoo he got in honor of Victoria.

He added a tiny, two-word tattoo, covered with flowers, which appears to be another tribute to his wife, Nicola. He already has over 70 tattoos dedicated to her.
