Crunchyroll Games is celebrating the second anniversary of its Game Vault by adding even more mobile games to its usual lineup. A major new release is Lost Hellden, a 3D action-adventure JRPG from Artisan Studios, which will be available on mobile devices as well as PC and consoles.

Join Cyphel on his quest to find his brother, who escaped to overcome his burden

If you enjoy anime-inspired games, you may have already played titles from the Crunchyroll Game Vault, such as Shin chan: Summer Vacation, Metal Slug Tactics, Two Strikes, and STEINS;GATE. The Vault is now celebrating its second anniversary, offering 75 unique games since its launch in November 2023.

Along with the typical anime-based mobile games, Crunchyroll Games is releasing Lost Hellden, an action JRPG reminiscent of classic titles, through their Vault. The game features a beautiful, hand-painted 3D world and artwork by Takeshi Oga, who previously worked on Gravity Rush, so I’m really looking forward to it.

The game is set in the world of Era, where a religion called Unio connects everyone to one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Twin births are seen as a bad sign, and you play as Cyphel, the twin born without a sin. Your goal is to find your missing twin, Leht, who fled from the Unio Temple.

Enjoy a fully voiced self-discovery story with a unique phased battle system

Beyond its heartwarming story about finding yourself and the bonds of family, this game boasts exciting combat. It’s a unique mix of fast-paced action and strategic turn-based fighting, where you can attack, defend, and use incredible special abilities.

I’m also really interested in trying Hexaken, a popular tactical card game in Era – it sounds like a lot of fun! Overall, Lost Hellden seems like a great game to keep an eye on. It boasts eight characters you can play, each with their own unique skills and abilities, plus elemental powers, summons, 21 different jobs, and tons of equipment.

I especially appreciate the way the changing weather affects everything in the game – from battles and characters to the environments themselves. Plus, the incredible soundtrack by Hitoshi Sakimoto really adds to the experience. We don’t have a release date yet, but keep an eye out for more news!
