Smilegate Entertainment has declared that they will be conducting a Beta Test for their fast-paced First-Person Shooter (FPS) game, Crossfire: Legends, from July 23 to August 22. Previously, an alpha test for this game was carried out on Android devices only within the Philippines in June.
The classic mobile FPS returns with a regional beta, iconic maps, and fan-favorite modes
Did you hear? The classic first-person shooter game, Crossfire: Legends, initially released in 2018 and later discontinued, is coming back! In partnership with Tencent Games, this is the official mobile version of the hugely popular FPS Crossfire, which is currently exclusive to China.

The exciting news is that the game is preparing for a beta test spanning the Southeast Asian region, which should last an entire month. During this trial period, you’ll have the opportunity to explore popular multiplayer modes such as Search & Destroy, Team Deathmatch, Free-for-All, Melee-Only, and even delve into the unique experience of Sniper-Only mode, which will be introduced midway through the beta phase.
As a gamer, man, I can’t help but feel a pang of envy towards those who get to dive into this game first, especially with the chance to explore 13 iconic maps like the Black Widow, Desert, and Transport Ship. And let’s not forget about the legendary weapon drops, such as the AK47-Beast and M4A1-Iron Beast – talk about some power in your hands! I can hardly wait to unleash these bad boys across various game modes, taking down enemies left, right, and center.
Crossfire: Legends brings characters, rewards, and an anti-cheat system
This trial version is rich in content and seems quite promising. You’ll have the chance to play as renowned characters such as Switcher, ULP, Fox Howl, and MOS. To ensure a fair playing field, we’ve implemented a robust anti-cheat system for your matches. Additionally, you can acquire the Battle Pass which comes with a series of tiered missions and in-game prizes.
In addition to everything else, you’ll also get the opportunity to access unique weapons, character packages, bonuses, and even more during the testing phase. It’s worth noting that while the registration for iOS has ended, the chance for Android users to sign up is approaching rapidly.
Crossfire: Legends is planning to conduct a beta test on Android and iOS devices starting from July 23 in the countries of the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. Pre-download for this early access opportunity is currently available through the Google Play Store, while those using iOS can download via Testflight.
