Smilegate Entertainment has unveiled a Beta Test period for their thrilling First-Person Shooter (FPS) game, Crossfire: Legends, which will be available on both Android and iOS devices from July 23 to August 22. This test is scheduled to take place in the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. Earlier, an alpha test for this game was conducted on Android devices only within the Philippines in June.
The classic mobile FPS returns with a regional beta, iconic maps, and fan-favorite modes
In case you weren’t aware, the well-loved first-person shooter game “Crossfire: Legends,” originally released in 2018 and subsequently discontinued, is making a comeback. Collaboratively developed with Tencent Games, it represents the mobile version of the popular FPS “Crossfire,” which is currently accessible only within China.

Exciting news! The game is now preparing for a beta test throughout Southeast Asia, which should last around a month. During this testing phase, you’ll have the chance to explore popular multiplayer modes such as Search & Destroy, Team Deathmatch, Free-for-All, and Melee-Only. Moreover, they plan to introduce the Sniper-Only mode during the beta period itself.
I’m green with envy for those who get to experience it, particularly since they have 13 iconic maps at their disposal like the Black Widow, Desert, and Transport Ship, and legendary weapon drops such as the AK47-Beast and the M4A1-Iron Beast. I can’t wait to test them out in various game modes to rule over the opposition.
It is packed with characters, rewards, anti-cheat system, and more
In this trial run, you’ll find an abundance of content that looks quite enticing. You’ll even have the opportunity to assume roles as renowned figures such as Switcher, ULP, Fox Howl, and MOS. To ensure a level playing field, we’ve incorporated a robust anti-cheat mechanism. Furthermore, you can acquire the Battle Pass, which comes with a series of missions and in-game prizes progressively tiered.
Additionally, you’ll find a host of special features such as unique weapons, character sets, bonuses, and other goodies becoming accessible during the testing phase. It’s worth noting that while registration for the iOS version has been completed, the sign-ups for the Android version will be opening shortly.
In just a few days, starting July 23, Crossfire: Legends will start its beta testing phase on Android and iOS devices in countries like the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. If you’re excited to join, you can pre-download the game from the Google Play Store or App Store before the Beta Test begins.
