Crispin Glover’s Dad Dead at 92

On a sad note, it was announced by Charlie’s Angels actor Crispin Glover that his father and fellow actor, Bruce Glover, passed away at the age of 92 on Friday.

On his Instagram account, Crispin announced the sad news about his father’s passing on March 12. He tenderly posted a series of old photos as a tribute.

Bruce gained recognition for portraying the character Mr. Wint, a villain in the 1971 James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever, with Sean Connery playing the role of 007.

Three years on, Bruce appeared as an assistant to the role played by Jack Nicholson in the iconic film Chinatown directed by Roman Polanski.

Additionally, he appeared on numerous timeless television series spanning from Gunsmoke and Perry Mason to Murder, She Wrote and The A-Team.

On Friday, Crispin’s spokesperson verified that Bruce had passed away, though they didn’t provide details about the reason behind his demise; this information was reported by TMZ.

Following the Korean War, he secured his debut role onstage, donning a gorilla suit and interacting with a stripper within a nightclub act in Florida. This performance caught the attention of a local magician who observed him, remarking: “Bruce, you have an actor’s talent,” commending his ability to convey authenticity.
