Craig Revel Horwood Stuns at 60: The Secret to His Ageless Appearance Revealed!

During his most recent guest spot on This Morning, Craig Revel Horwood demonstrated that numbers don’t define age.

On a couch alongside Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard on Wednesday, the Strictly Come Dancing judge, who celebrated his 60th birthday in January, displayed an appearance that belied his age.

Craig stood out, dressed in a striking black shirt adorned with vibrant watermelon and flamingo designs.

In addition to his dancing skills, this performer sported a full beard, making its first appearance during the latest season of Strictly.

After Craig announced his plans for a break in 2025, marking the celebration of his 60th birthday.

As the individual celebrating their birthday on the 4th of January, I must confess that I’ve been feeling quite drained. The reason being, I’ve found myself immersed in a continuous work cycle, with the BBC competition and my role in the Peter Pan pantomime in Milton Keynes demanding all my attention and energy.

Craig plans to take a break for a few months following the completion of the Strictly Live Tour in early February.

The judge mentioned that he has been working non-stop for a long time and will turn 60 next year. He expressed the need, more strongly than before, to spend a couple of months on personal time.

Craig also said he will never dance again, but doesn’t want to ‘slow down’.

Speaking with The Mirror, he expressed that retiring would be foolish since he doesn’t know what else to do. He enjoys the program immensely and considers himself an integral part of it – not just as a fixture but also as part of its very essence.

Craig mentioned that he feels a touch of apprehension as he approaches the age of sixty, but he acknowledges this fact with a slight, amused grin.

As someone who finds themselves on the cusp of a milestone, I acknowledge that 60 may carry connotations of age, yet in my mind, it merely signifies another chapter in life’s grand adventure. With only a decade left until 70, a time often associated with retirement, I can’t help but notice the similarity. However, my ambitions and zest for life remain undiminished.

Dancing all the time isn’t sustainable, as it takes a toll on your body. With surgeries on my toes, hips, and other parts, I’ve reached the end of my dancing journey.

2021 signified a decade since Craig publicly disclosed his life-changing surgery, which left him feeling incredibly resilient.

At one point, Craig discussed undergoing a procedure to get rid of his enlarged male breasts, often referred to as gynaecomastia in medical terms. The operation, which may involve liposuction or excision of breast tissue based on its degree, brought the celebrity a sense of relief post-surgery.

At the time, he told TopMob: ‘I had a moob job. I used to be a C-cup and now I am an A.

Although it’s generally viewed as more of a beauty enhancement, it can significantly impact one’s self-esteem negatively. It certainly had that effect on me.

‘When I took up dancing in my teens and simultaneously became anorexic, they didn’t go. 

Despite maintaining a toned physique during my performances at the Lido in Paris and diligently exercising daily, I found the area around my nipples to be soft and plump, which I disliked intensely.
