This year, it was particularly amusing to see Craig Revel Horwood channeling his inner Rylan Clark, sporting a beard and a sparkly suit on the red carpet. The resemblance was uncanny!
At the Pride of Britain Awards 2024 on Monday, Craig Revel Horwood bore a strong resemblance to Rylan Clark due to his beard and shiny attire.
The Strictly Come Dancing judge, aged 59, bore a striking resemblance to the television personality, who is 35 years old, complete with facial hair and an eccentric jacket style.
He paired a striped jacket with a black shirt and some dark pants while striking poses for the cameras on the crimson carpet.
At the glamorous gathering hosted by the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, Craig appeared to be in high spirits, admiring the array of stars.
It turns out that Rylan wasn’t present at the gathering, a spectacle graced by personalities such as Cat Deeley, Maura Higgins, and Helen Flanagan.
For the 25th time, the Pride of Britain Awards will be held again. Ashley Banjo and Carol Vorderman are set to resume their roles as co-hosts for this special event.
Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks will be hosting the red carpet, while GK Barry will provide online content from her unique bar setup during the event.
Since 1999, this ceremony has been held to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of extraordinary individuals from various backgrounds throughout the United Kingdom, chosen by the general public as their nominees.
Following the creation of a selection from among the numerous submissions, the winners are determined by the Pride of Britain Judging Committee.
Before the event commenced, The King and Prime Minister Keir Starmer paid tribute to the country’s unrecognized champions.
The King called them ‘the very best’ of us, while Sir Keir said, ‘They embody everything that is great about Britain’.
In a letter, King Charles expressed his sentiments to Molly Leonard, the young winner of The King’s Trust, who was so honored that her grandmother cried with joy upon reading it to her.
Beyond expressing appreciation for Molly, he also penned: “For the 25th anniversary of the Pride of Britain Awards, I extend my heartfelt admiration to all the winners this year. Each one of you embodies the finest aspects of our community.
The Prime Minister told the winners: ‘Britain is proud of you’.
Over the past 25 years, the Pride of Britain honors have been bestowed upon individuals epitomizing the exceptional qualities of Great Britain. Regardless of their backgrounds, these individuals share a common trait – they are all heroes.
‘They might not resemble the caped crusaders we typically envision, as they blend in with ordinary people. However, they possess something truly exceptional. Qualities such as courage, tenacity, kindness, understanding, and an immense spirit.’
These individuals possess an extraordinary ability to stir our emotions, instill hope within us, and fill us with pride. They serve as proof that despite adversity, human spirit can accomplish remarkable feats.
