Courteney Cox Officiates Friend’s Wedding in Australia

On a sunny Thursday down under near the Sydney Opera House, Courteney Cox joyfully performed the wedding ceremony of a dear friend in Australia.

In a delicate pink gown that added an air of elegance, the actress, aged sixty, gracefully made her way up the aisle prior to leading the wedding ceremony at the altar.

To ensure that the bride, lifelong family friend Alexandria Jackson, wouldn’t be overshadowed, Courtney chose a delicate dress with thin straps and decided on a timeless, voluminous hairstyle known as a bouncy blowdry.

In a form-fitting outfit, Courteney appeared otherworldly as she gracefully stepped onto the stage to preside over the event.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I had the pleasure of witnessing an extraordinary moment when Coco Arquette, the lovely daughter of my dear friend Jennifer Aniston (yes, Rachel Green herself), served as a bridesmaid in a beautiful wedding ceremony. Standing proudly by her mother’s side and beside the bride, they both radiated love and support for the happy couple.

Courtney showed nothing but affectionate concern as she witnessed director and producer Alexandria marry her spouse, Josh Horowitz.

Following Courtney’s addition to the Scream 7 cast, it has been confirmed by an inside source speaking to Variety that she will be reappearing in the popular horror series, set to resume her character, Gale Weathers.

Through a post on their Instagram Story, the legitimate Scream Movies account shared the news by reposting an article and providing a link.

Two-and-a-half months back, the stunning brunette had yet to formally commit to the project, despite rumors suggesting it was already underway.

She stated that she hadn’t formally agreed to it, but there would indeed be a Scream 7.

Despite the plot and cast details being kept secret, the actress has mentioned that she’s waiting for the final script to arrive.

Additionally, she expressed her enthusiasm since it was announced that Kevin Williamson would be directing the movie – marking his debut in this cherished series.

She remarked about Williamson, the screenwriter from the 1996 landmark film, saying, “You won’t find anything better than that decision. It promises to be entertaining.

In a September interview, the actress who played Rachel on Friends expressed her desire to revive her former partner David Arquette’s character Dewey, even though he was written off in the fifth film.

She expressed that she comprehends their motives, yet added what a surprising oversight it was! Dewey, adored by Scream enthusiasts, must be resolved somehow.

However, there are no official plans to revive Arquette’s character in the upcoming film. 

Courteney and her actor ex said ‘I do’ back in 1999 and welcomed daughter Coco, 20, in 2004. 

Before the character Dewey Riley, played by Arquette, met his untimely end in 2022’s Scream, he had already appeared in the first five movies.

Currently, she mentioned there’s no set deadline for making a decision regarding her potential comeback to the series.

‘They’re rewriting all the time. It’s not like I don’t know what’s going on,’ she shared.

In addition to the first movie, Courteney has been part of every subsequent Scream release: Scream 2 (1997), Scream 3 (2000), Scream 4 (2011), Scream (2022), and Scream VI (2023).

Scream 7 is slated to hit theatres on February 27, 2026.

In addition to Neve Campbell, Patrick Dempsey, Celeste O’Connor, Isabel May, and Roger Jackson, other notable actors will be appearing in the eagerly awaited movie.

In late July, Neve Campbell expressed her excitement about rejoining the series and shared her feelings of gratitude for the enduring influence the classic movies have had.

As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but express my deep affection for these films. Being involved in their journey has been nothing short of exhilarating, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be associated with them. It’s hard for me to imagine being a part of a movie that would still be thriving after so many decades.
