Country music star Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, surprised fans with his appearance upon arriving in Australia this week.
The famous singer arrived at Sydney Airport on Tuesday, kicking off his first tour of Australia as the main performer.
The man, who is 40 years old, appeared much thinner as he walked through the airport, having lost an impressive 90 kilograms.
The star, who has many tattoos, was comfortably dressed for traveling in a loose-fitting black Reebok sweatshirt and sweatpants.
He attempted to go incognito in a Tennessee Titans hat while flanked by a security entourage.
The artist behind “The Wild Ones” will be performing at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on October 24th, at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on October 28th and 29th, and at Sydney’s Qudos Arena on November 4th.

Jelly Roll is also set to headline the inaugural Strummingbird festival with Shaboozey.
The country music festival, organized by the creators of the popular Spilt Milk concerts, will feature the singers as its headliners, starting this October. It will be held in three different cities.
Popular musicians will be performing at Kawana Sports Precinct on the Sunshine Coast on Saturday, October 25th.
The band will play a show in Newcastle on November 1st, and then conclude their tour with a final performance at Claremont Showground in Perth on November 2nd.
The event will feature a fantastic group of performers, with both well-known international artists and exciting local talent. Expect to see Treaty Oak Revival, James Johnston, Kaylee Bell, Matt Hansen, Drew Baldridge, and the energetic Hot Dub Time Machine on stage.
Jelly Roll has been getting a lot of attention lately after losing a significant amount of weight – 90 kilograms – and showing off his new, leaner physique.
Last December, the country singer shared a new commitment to health and fitness during an interview with his wife, Bunnie XO, on her podcast, Dumb Blonde.
He confessed that he wanted to appear on the cover of Men’s Health magazine.

‘I wanna be on the cover of Men’s Health by March of 2026. That’s my new goal,’ he announced.
The star declared: ‘I wanna have one of the biggest transformations.’
He added that he was ‘so glad’ to be having the discussion in front of an audience.
I shared this openly on purpose. I want to be honest with people about the challenges I’ve been facing,” he explained.
The musician talked about how fame and body image are connected, explaining that people who become very well-known often feel embarrassed when they lose weight.
People often withdraw and lose weight when they’re feeling ashamed. Then, when they re-emerge looking or feeling different, they struggle to readjust to the world and have to figure out a new way of being.
‘I wanted to lose it in front of everybody. I wanted to talk about it.’
As a long-time fan, I was really touched by what Jelly shared about her weight loss journey. She explained how much harder it is to navigate when everyone’s watching, but what really resonated with me was her point that her success wasn’t because of her weight, but actually in spite of the challenges it presented. She wants to take us all along with her, and I think that’s amazing.
He admitted he found it incredible that he’d achieved so much success despite carrying around 550 pounds – calling it ‘insane.’
