Country music star Lainey Wilson suffers very embarrassing wardrobe malfunction on stage: ‘You were about to get a REAL show!’

As a dedicated fan of Lainey Wilson, I can’t help but be in awe of her unapologetic and authentic spirit. The recent incident at the Faster Horses music festival where she split her pants during a live performance only adds to her charm and relatability.

During a live show, a country artist accidentally split her pants, unintentionally revealing more than planned.

At the Faster Horses music festival in Brooklyn, Michigan, on July 20, Lainey Wilson, aged 32, experienced a mishap during her performance when her pants unexpectedly tore apart. This incident was filmed and later disseminated through social media.

“You guys are in for quite a treat,” I jokingly told the audience, based on what I saw in the viral TikTok video.

She expressed her relief and stated, “It was a new experience for me to have my pants tear open in your presence.”

The musician known for making moonshine from watermelons was oblivious to the fact that her pants had torn until her team brought it to her attention.

At first, she had on purple pants, which she later switched out for dark jeans. She accessorized these with a purple cowboy hat and a black leather vest boasting large silver adornments as buttons.

In my experience as a lifestyle expert, after the change of events, I found myself perched comfortably on a spacious truck stage-side, chuckling at my own mishap.

‘You can’t make that up! I’d have never known had my people back here not seen it,’ she exclaimed. 

‘I’ve got some new pants on,’ she told the cheering crowd.

I’ve been there myself, performing on stage with the hot spotlight bearing down on me and the crowd watching intently. The last thing I want is to have to change into jeans while sweating profusely. It’s an uncomfortable experience that takes away from the flow of the performance. You have to struggle to squeeze into those tight denim pants, all while trying to maintain your cool and put on a good show for the audience. It’s not an enjoyable moment, but it’s part of the job. So, my advice is to dress appropriately before going on stage to avoid such an unpleasant experience.

‘We are gonna have the time of our lives!’ she cheered.

Later on, Lainey added a video of herself to TikTok. In the clip, she is wearing brown western jeans with fringes and a cowboy hat, as she squats down for the camera.

Before performing at Faster Horses again, she quipped about incorporating this into her regular regimen to prevent her pants from tearing, as she demonstrated by bending up and down.

I’ve always been a die-hard fan of Taylor Swift, even before she became a household name. Seeing her perform as a teenager was the moment that truly captured my heart and fueled my obsession.

Lainey recalled seeing a young artist, around 15 years old, perform at CMA Fest on the Riverfront stage when she herself was only 14. She was deeply impressed and couldn’t help but think that this girl’s future in music looked very promising.

‘And there was hardly anybody in the crowd except for me and my family,’ she continued.

She added, “I had to share that with her. And she replied, ‘There were around sixteen people present.’ To which I responded, ‘We were among the four'”

The singer was delighted to learn that Taylor is among her admirers, and their appreciation for each other has grown reciprocally over the years.

Previously on the Zach Sang Show podcast, Lainey shared that she was surprised when she found out the 14-time Grammy Award winner is a fan of her music.

In sharing my feelings, I expressed to her, “She really impresses me. I believe she’s absolutely amazing.” When relaying this to the interviewer, she spoke of it in similar terms.

Starting in late May this year, Lainey’s Country’s Cool Again Tour, which is still ongoing, will carry on through the end of the year in North America.
