Country music star dies TWICE as horrific health battles are revealed

As a dedicated fan of Phil Vassar, I find myself awestruck by his resilience and sheer luck. To hear about his two “deaths” and the harrowing ordeal he went through is nothing short of heart-stopping (pun intended). The fact that he can now look back on those moments with a clear mind, sharing the details so candidly, speaks volumes about his strength and character.

Country music legend Phil Vassar has shared harrowing accounts of his two instances where his heart stopped, lasting a total of 30 minutes, before being resuscitated and given a second chance at life.

The 62-year-old Six-Pack Summer hitmaker suffered a heart attack and stroke in early 2023.

Phil experienced a situation where his health problems caused him to stop beating for a brief period on two separate occasions, as he shared with Taste of Country.

He explained that following his heart attack and stroke, he didn’t remember anything.

Yet, it was clear that his heart had stopped beating for an astonishing 30 minutes, a fact he mentioned which led doctors to believe they had tragically lost him.

He told the outlet: ‘I dropped dead. I was dead for 30 minutes a couple times.

‘No heartbeat. No heartbeat at all.’

The country singer revealed that he suffered a heart attack at his home in early 2023.

He noted that he was just felt ‘tired’ in the days leading up to his heart attack before explaining that his ‘genes caught up with him.’

Just three days later, Phil said he then had a stroke, which saw his heart stop beating again.

He remembered when medical professionals tried resuscitating him, observing how he turned pale blue, almost as if his past life was playing out in fast-forward right before his own eyes.

‘So she started doing CPR until the crew got there and they brought me back,’ Phil said.

In order to revive me, they needed to administer the electric shock 11 times and, unfortunately, broke a few ribs in the process. However, these events seem hazy to me. Yet, they managed to bring me back to consciousness remarkably well, if I may say so myself.

Fortunately, the paramedics managed to help the celebrity, who later expressed his well-being was better than it had ever been before.

‘I am back on tour. And I’m back, you know, doing what I always do,’ he said.

Oh, what a relief modern medicine has been to me! I shudder to think where I might be today without it – likely not here at all. Nowadays, they can perform miracles like stinting and fixing what once seemed irreparable. Simply amazing!

I must admit, there have been times when I thought I was on the right track, only to find myself stumbling and falling. It’s perplexing how life can sometimes take unexpected turns, isn’t it? It seems as though we’re sailing smoothly along, then suddenly we hit a stormy patch without warning. That’s just one of the peculiarities of life, I suppose.

Phil soared to fame in in the 1990s when he released his debut album.

Since then, he’s put out nine more albums and collaborated with notable artists like Tim McGraw, Jo Dee Messina, Collin Raye, and Alan Jackson, contributing to their songs.
