As a huge Zach Bryan fan, I was shocked to hear about the drama with Gavin Adcock! It all came to a head this weekend in Oklahoma, and apparently, there was a pretty intense confrontation backstage – someone even caught it all on camera. It’s just crazy to think about, honestly.
Bryan, age 28, unexpectedly showed up at the Born & Raised Festival in Pryor on Saturday. He joined Gabriella Rose on stage during her performance, but his visit involved more than just music.
The musician behind “Something in the Orange” seemed eager to address recent criticisms from Adcock, a rising artist from Georgia who has publicly spoken out against him.
Videos are circulating online showing Bryan having a heated argument with Adcock. The argument took place behind the scenes, with a barbed-wire fence separating the two.
Wearing a simple white t-shirt and jeans, he suddenly shouted, ‘Do you want to fight? Open the gate!’ and then punched the chain-link fence.
Just a short while after that, Bryan started climbing over the barbed wire fence, pulling himself up and over while Adcock, wearing a vest and cowboy hat, stood on the other side, pointing and making fun of him.

Bryan jumped at his opponent, but a security guard intervened and stopped him before a fight could begin.
The tense video cuts off there, leaving fans buzzing over the near-brawl.
Neither Bryan nor Adcock’s reps responded to Daily Mail’s requests for comment.
In another clip making the rounds, things got even more heated.
Bryan is heard snarling, ‘If they open up this f***** gate, I’ll f****** kill you.’
Adcock didn’t give in, responding with a sharp, ‘I have a show to perform, you idiot!’ – implying the argument occurred right before he was supposed to go on stage.
Adcock then poured gasoline on the fire by posting his own version of the fence-line showdown.
The singer of ‘The Deep End’ posted a video on Instagram, explaining that they received death threats from someone associated with ‘Sack Cryin’ before performing a headlining show in that person’s hometown.

He added a final dig: ‘Eat a Snickers bro.’
The bad blood between the two country acts didn’t start in Oklahoma.
In July, Jason Adcock confronted Bryan after a fan shared online that they didn’t receive an autograph from him at the MetLife Stadium event.
Bryan responded to the teenager, stating that someone shouldn’t expect a response – even just a picture or a greeting – after someone else has spent two and a half hours working.
Adcock continued to fuel the conflict, explaining in an interview with the Nashville Now podcast that he believes Zach Bryan presents a false persona to the world, and occasionally lets his real personality slip through.
‘I don’t know if Zach Bryan’s really that great of a person.’
Of course, stirring the pot is nothing new for Adcock.
In June, actor Matthew Adcock publicly criticized Beyoncé’s album, Cowboy Carter, stating during a performance that he didn’t consider it country music.

Bryan hasn’t exactly stayed out of the drama either.
The Grammy winner has feuded publicly with his ex ‘Chicken Fry’ Brianna LaPaglia.
In November 2024, the podcaster discussed her split with the country singer on The BFF Podcast, sharing details about their relationship and alleging that he was emotionally abusive during their time together.
Shortly after Bryan publicly announced their breakup on Instagram in October 2024, LaPaglia shared a heartfelt video on her YouTube channel.
LaPaglia said she found out about her breakup with Zach through an Instagram post he made, completely out of the blue. He hadn’t contacted her beforehand – she woke up to the post and then a flood of concerned messages from friends asking if she was alright.
She said she was ‘completely blindsided’ by Bryan’s decision to post the news of their separation.
‘Do you see the swelling on my face? I’ve been crying for like five days straight,’ she admitted.
Okay, so she just… *laid it all out there*. It was brutal, honestly. She was like, ‘Ugh, this is so mortifying, but I seriously don’t care what anyone thinks.’ Then she just… *broke down* talking about pouring her heart and soul into someone, giving them *everything*, and then being tossed aside in days. It was just… so heartbreaking to hear her say it. Like, it genuinely felt like her heart was shattering. I just… I can’t even imagine going through that.
Near the end of the video, Brianna said she felt completely ‘blindsided.’
Bryan also clashed with fellow musician John Moreland.
Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe the drama! It all blew up between Bryan and Moreland, and it was *messy*. Apparently, Moreland said something about Bryan’s new publishing deal – the one everyone’s saying is worth $350 million! – and Bryan just completely lost it. He immediately pulled their collaboration from all streaming platforms. Like, *gone*. I’m honestly shook! It’s a total disaster, and I need answers!
