Jinger Duggar responded to wild rumors that there could be ‘mystery grandkids‘ in her family.
Joy-Anna Duggar, 32, recently answered questions from her followers on Instagram. During the session, someone asked about her family history, and she responded.
Someone with her 1.4 million Instagram followers sent her a question, and she appeared to laugh and seem shocked when she read it.
The question she received read: ‘Are there any mystery Duggar grandkids?’
Jinger, one of nineteen children who recently had her third baby in early 2025, simply replied with the side-eye emoji and the word ‘Ohhh’.
She playfully wondered if she might be missing some family members, given how big her family is, and then added a laughing emoji to show she was joking.
This news follows Jinger’s recent confession that she hasn’t celebrated Christmas with her whole family in almost ten years, leading many to believe it’s connected to her decision to leave their church.
I was really interested to hear what she had to say when someone asked about remembering all of her family’s birthdays – it’s a big family! She also talked about whether she actually sends gifts to everyone, which I always wondered about, honestly.
With her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, now having about 40 grandchildren, she shared that it’s hard to remember every niece and nephew’s birthday.
She shared in an Instagram Story video that she’s memorized the birthdays of all her siblings and parents.
Jinger admitted she sometimes needs to look up important dates, especially as her siblings continue to expand their families and have more children.
‘Beyond that, in-laws? No. Nieces and nephews? Maybe one or two.’
‘It’s one of those things where I kinda feel bad about it, but also at the same time, we’re at like 40 grandkids from my parents so that’s, like, a lot to remember,’ she admitted.
However, she mentioned that some other family members might have photos or memories of everyone. She was particularly impressed with a couple of her sisters-in-law who seemed to have a good recollection of things.
‘That’s a big thing. I’m just not great with dates.’
She explained that while she’d love to send birthday gifts to all her nieces and nephews, it’s just too expensive with so many siblings and relatives.
Honestly, I was floored when she mentioned this! Apparently, growing up with eighteen siblings, she and all her brothers and sisters would get birthday cards from their aunts and uncles – and not just any cards, but ones with five dollars tucked inside! Can you imagine? It sounds like the sweetest, most thoughtful thing ever, and I’m still picturing all those little cards arriving. It just shows how loved she and her family were, and it’s honestly making me tear up a little thinking about it!
Jinger is one of Jim Bob and Michelle’s six children, and one of their four daughters. She and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, have three children together.
She and her husband married in 2016 and have three children: seven-year-old Felicity, five-year-old Evangeline, and a baby boy named Finnegan who turns one in March.
Oh my gosh, Jinger! I’ve been watching her since forever! She was amazing on 19 Kids and Counting, growing up with all those siblings! And then, of course, Counting On – I loved seeing how their family changed and grew over the years. Seriously, I followed every moment of it!
The Duggar family has grown to include 11 spouses of their children, and at least ten of the Duggar siblings now have children themselves.
Josh and Anna have seven children, and Jessa and Ben have six. Additionally, seven other Duggar siblings each have three or four children of their own.
Their reality show ran for 15 seasons on TLC before concluding in 2015.
The show featured Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their large family of 19 children: Joshua, the twins Jana and John-David, and then Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn-Grace, and finally, Josie. They were all homeschooled.
Jinger has also suggested it’s possible some of her siblings might one day have a large family, potentially even up to 19 children.
In a December podcast episode, she revealed she’d be joining her family’s Christmas celebration for the first time in nearly a decade.
She did bring gifts, but explained her family does a Secret Santa-style gift exchange, where everyone draws a name to determine who they’ll be buying a present for.
