Cosmoss Crisis! Kate Moss’ Brand Saved, But Is It Doomed?
It seems that Kate Moss’ troubled wellness company, Cosmoss, has successfully managed to stay in business, as recent official records indicate that the impending liquidation has been cancelled.
Overjoyed by the recent turn of events, I can hardly contain my excitement as I pen down these words. Weeks ago, when the chilling notice was served upon our beloved company, threatening to expel it from the hallowed grounds of the official register, my heart sank. But today, I stand before you, brimming with elation, as Companies House officially confirms that the proposed action has been put on hold! This is a triumph we all share, a testament to our unwavering love and support for this institution that means so much to us.
As per the latest information, the Companies Registrar has decided not to take any additional steps, indicating that a valid reason was provided to keep Cosmoss listed in their records.
In February, it was disclosed by The Mail that Cosmoss was at risk of removal from the registry, leading to worries about the fate of Moss’s highly anticipated lifestyle project.
2022 saw the grand debut of Cosmoss, generating quite a buzz, with its mission to infuse Moss’s high-fashion sensibilities into a wellness dynasty. This venture offers an array of products, including teas, face creams, and even ‘sacred mist’ sprays priced at £105.
However, although the company appears to have avoided a legal issue, its digital quietness and apparent online chaos is leaving fans puzzled and bewildered.
Or:
Despite managing to avoid a legal problem, fans are now perplexed by the brand’s silence on digital platforms and the apparent disarray of its online presence.

Although there was a temporary pause, Cosmoss has been quiet on its Instagram page since February, which is rather uncommon for a brand known for its frequent updates showcasing its distinctive, moody green style and lifestyle themes.
The last post, on 20 February, is filled with customer complaints.
One user expressed concern, saying, “I’m having trouble completing purchases on your EU online store. The shopping cart doesn’t seem to be loading, even on my iPhone and Mac. I’d really like to place an order if possible.
Another replied saying they were having the same problem.
A third individual remarked, ‘I ordered something four days back, but I can’t track its progress as the site keeps displaying errors instead of showing the status.’
Attempting to put items into the shopping cart on the Cosmoss official site at present results in an empty cart, preventing any purchases from being finalized.
Amidst growing uncertainty, it appears that various Cosmoss items are now available at Boop Beauty, offering discounts as high as 69%. This could indicate a possible liquidation sale or a change in their distribution plan.
TopMob has contacted a representative for Kate for comment.
When Kate introduced Cosmoss in the year 2022, she stated that it aimed to provide ‘an entryway’ for ‘harmony, renewal, and affection’.
However, it’s important to note that signs of financial distress were already apparent earlier, with reports suggesting that the wellness brand was in debt to its lenders to the tune of over £405,000 by April 2023.

This skincare company offers a set of 20 herbal tea bags priced at £20, along with fragrances and moisturizing products such as a £105 rejuvenating facial oil and a £125 Holy Spray for the room.
On its launch on September 1, 2022, Kate asserted that the brand Cosmoss was designed as a means of self-care tailored to contemporary life experiences.
In similar fashion, it has been compared to Gwyneth Paltrow’s American venture, Goop, with Kate joining the ranks of celebrities investing in the wellness industry.
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but rave about Kate’s captivating beauty line. Her products, crafted from potent, all-natural ingredients, are meticulously organized into three daily routines designed to harmonize body, mind, and soul with the enchanting rhythm of nature and our internal clocks (circadian cycles).
The site explains that these practices allow us to synchronize with the pace of nature, aid in finding personal serenity, and offer a pathway towards harmony, rejuvenation, and affection.
The complete set of three rituals is priced over £400, and interestingly, the well-known Golden Nectar serum, enriched with the legendary tears from Chios (a plant resin sourced on the Greek island), costs a single £105.
The morning routine, enriching the body with ‘beneficial vitality’, amounts to a total of £287. This package consists of a £21 antioxidant ‘morning tea’, a £52 skin cleanser, and a £95 anti-aging facial cream.
In this rephrased version, I’ve aimed to maintain the original meaning while using simple and easy-to-understand language.
In 2023, it was disclosed by The Daily Mail that Kate successfully fought a court case against a pharmaceutical company regarding the brand name Cosmoss she owns.
In my fervor, I’d say, “It signifies that she’s branding ‘Cosmoss’ for an array of products like herbal remedies for healing, not to mention edibles and mineral supplements, as part of her new business undertaking!

In our conversation back then, Kate shared her grand aspirations for the Cosmoss brand with me, Richard Eden from The Daily Mail.
In the year 2022, Kate submitted an application at the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) for trademarking Cosmoss, which encompasses a range of products including aromatherapy candles, vitamin supplements, teas, magazines, videos, and home furnishings. However, Danish company Pharmacosmos contested her application, expressing their opposition to it.
For over five decades now, I’ve been unwaveringly devoted to a pioneering business that specializes in crafting solutions for individuals grappling with iron deficiency – a journey I’m proud to be part of!
As a lifestyle expert, I can share that the initial concern over potential confusion has been addressed and withdrawn with regard to Kate’s application. In simpler terms, the confusion factor that caused an objection previously, has now been resolved, leading to the dropping of the opposition.
The initial public offering (IPO) filing revealed that Cosmoss had decided against registering products aimed at addressing iron deficiency, thus avoiding any potential conflicts with the Danish company.
In March 2024, the brand encountered further criticism as Kate claimed to have discovered a miraculous eczema cure, surpassing what leading scientists around the globe have achieved.
Applying her freshly-bought Golden Nectar skin oil once only reportedly delivered a surprising advantage: it immediately alleviated eczema or another persistent skin problem, psoriasis, without any prior treatments needed.
In a video chat with fashion writer Alessandra Steinherr, which was shared on the Cosmoss Instagram page, she revealed a secret: something we didn’t know when we created it; we found out later on.

As a lifestyle advisor, I’ve had many individuals confide in me about their skin troubles, be it eczema, psoriasis, or other types of spots and blemishes. They’ve shared their struggles with finding effective solutions, but then they discovered this amazing remedy. Apply it once, and voila! The next day, those pesky irritations seem to vanish, offering relief and renewed confidence.
Yet, according to the NHS website, there’s no known cure for either eczema or psoriasis, two uncomfortable and visually distressing conditions that are typically managed with moisturizers, along with creams and ointments, which help alleviate swelling and redness during outbreaks.
Kate faced criticism from NHS’s leading physician, Professor Sir Stephen Powis, regarding allegedly misleading health assertions.
Previously, the company encountered issues with U.S. federal agencies regarding proposals to promote a wellness product derived from cannabis.
