Coronation Street’s Tina O’Brien, 42, shows off her VERY youthful complexion as she steps out in Cheshire

Okay, so I spotted Tina O’Brien out and about in Alderley Edge the other day, and honestly, her skin is glowing! She seriously looks fantastic – so youthful and fresh. It’s always lovely to see celebrities looking so good in their everyday lives, right?

The 42-year-old actress from Coronation Street looked glowing and happy as she walked down the street and smiled for the photographers.

For the outing, Tina stayed cozy and stylish in a black aviator coat and a matching turtleneck dress.

She finished her outfit by wearing a silky black lace slip under her clothes, paired with nearly see-through black tights and black lace-up boots.

Carrying a Waitrose shopping bag, Tina styled her blonde locks into a slick yet messy bun.

Tina was seen out recently, following news from her ex-partner, Ryan Thomas, that their 17-year-old daughter, Scarlett, has signed a recording contract.

The actor from Coronation Street posted a picture of himself with his daughter, celebrating her new record deal with Big Family Music. They were at a restaurant when she signed the agreement.

He also posted a video of her singing at that same restaurant five years ago when she was 12.

He shared a video with the caption: ‘Today is an incredible day for me. I’ll never forget watching my daughter sign her first record deal!’

Everything seemed to fall into place today. When we arrived at the restaurant to finalize the agreement, Scarlett surprisingly exclaimed, ‘I’ve been here before, Dad!’ And then, we discovered this video.

She sang ‘A Million Dreams’ standing on a chair in front of our family, and now, five years later, we’re helping her make that dream a reality.

Scarlett, Ryan’s daughter with his former partner and co-star Tina, frequently posts singing videos on TikTok.

She posted a picture of herself signing the contract, expressing her excitement and gratitude for this incredible opportunity and everything that has led up to it.

Today felt incredible – a real turning point! I’ve been pouring my heart and soul into something for a while now, and I’m so excited to finally be able to share it with all of you. I’m really looking forward to this year and hoping it brings some fantastic music to everyone’s ears.

This follows Ryan’s explanation of why he let Scarlett miss her GCSE exams, a decision that sparked debate.

Scarlett shared that she did not sit the nationwide exams in a video posted to her TikTok page.

I’m seeing everyone get their GCSE results today and thinking about what mine could have been like, but I’ll always be left wondering.

The video sparked a lot of online debate, as many people felt it was wrong for the teen to skip school and exams to pursue acting.

He defiantly said: ‘Is it even anyone’s business or concern though?’

I’ve been following this actress for a while now, and it’s so clear she’s determined to make her own mark in the entertainment world, just like her parents! She’s incredibly talented, with a real love for both acting and singing, and I can’t wait to see what she does next.

Although most teenagers in England take GCSE exams, it’s not actually the law. The Education Act of 1996 doesn’t require them. Sixteen-year-olds can choose different qualifications instead, or leave school altogether.

You might recognize my family – my uncle Adam Thomas really broke through on a show called Waterloo Road. It was one of the roles that turned him into a familiar face, and we’re all so proud of his success!

Scarlett has defended herself against criticism for starting her acting career when she was young.

The critics wrote: ‘You only got those opportunities because of your family.’

Scarlett posted a fun TikTok video of herself riding in a convertible, lip-syncing to the Commodores’ classic song “Easy” from 1977.

Scarlett hit back: ‘God forbid a girl takes the chances she gets.’

In the video, she wore large sunglasses, gold hoop earrings, and a brown sweater that fell off her shoulders.

When Scarlett made her first acting appearance, her mother, Tina – famous for her role as Sarah Platt on Coronation Street – shared her excitement on Instagram. Ryan, who played Jason Grimshaw on the same show, is her partner.

She expressed how proud she is of Scarlett Thomas, praising her dedication to the show Waterloo Road and how much she enjoyed watching her play the character Izzy.

‘Wonderful to see her talent recognised by @tvtimesmagazine as she’s been nominated for an award.’

Scarlett is quickly becoming a rising star, gaining attention for her work on BBC’s Waterloo Road and a strong social media presence. Industry insiders estimate she could earn over £2 million before turning 18.

She’s gained a large following on social media, with over 165,000 TikTok followers and 138,000 on Instagram. She started both accounts when she turned sixteen in October.
