As an ardent fan of Saira Choudhry, I couldn’t help but feel a rush of emotions upon learning about her long-awaited nuptials! It’s been 25 years since she and her soulmate Marc Jackson shared their first romantic moment, and finally, they’ve decided to embark on this beautiful journey together.
Actress Saira Choudhry tied the knot with her long-term partner, Marc Jackson, 25 years following their initial date together.
On a Friday, the actress, aged 42, renowned for her performances in Hollyoaks and Coronation Street, posted behind-the-scenes snapshots and clips of her extravagant wedding held in Crete on Instagram, offering glimpses into the event.
The couple exchanged their vows on the Greek island, surrounded by close family and friends.
On her special occasion, Saira, known for her roles as Anita Roy on Hollyoaks and Naila Badal on Coronation Street, dazzled in a beautiful, long-trained, strapless white dress.
This snug outfit showcased a charming sweetheart neckline, complete with buttons running along its backside, and an attractive loop for the wrist.
She styled her raven locks into a low ponytail.
As a committed follower, I made the personal decision to forgo the veil and instead adorn myself with a modest white bow. Meanwhile, my partner Marc elegantly selected a cream suit for his attire.
In the bridal party, where Saira’s daughter Leah was also present, they all donned soft green gowns, each one featuring unique straps and neckline designs.
At the wedding location, there was an awe-inspiring seaside scenery serving as the backdrop, while rows of white seats were prepared for the attendees and a beautiful floral arch stood ready for the ceremony.
For the evening party, tables were arranged adorned with strings of fairy lights, where attendees feasted on food, danced, and were treated to various forms of entertainment such as an ice cream vendor, inflatable bounce house, and a saxophonist playing tunes.
Saira posted videos and snapshots from her musically filled day on her social media platforms, featuring a clip where her spouse was emceeing to the track “Re-Rewind” by Artful Dodger.
In a fun and lively video, she was seen – likely before the wedding – dancing with her bridesmaids to “Let’s Get Married” by Jagged Edge, while waving a hand-held fan adorned with the phrase “The Bride.”
As she and her new husband walked into their wedding reception, Bruno Mars’ Finesse played.
As a dedicated follower, I found myself immersed in a delightful mix of tunes during the reception. The wedding is taking place within just about two years since Saira revealed her engagement to Marc, which came shortly after he proposed at Edinburgh Castle in the year 2022.
On Instagram, Saira excitedly informed her followers about her upcoming nuptials by writing: ‘Accepted the proposal! Here’s to being Mrs. Jackson. I love you, Marc.’
