Kate Spencer shared the happy news on Sunday that she and her husband, Paul Walker, are expecting their first child, posting a heartwarming ultrasound photo.
The 29-year-old soap actress posted a photo of her partner kissing her head while she showed off her baby scan.
Kate, who married a professional boxer in 2022, shared that she feels thankful and happy as they get ready to have a baby next spring.
I’m so thrilled to share some personal news! We’re expecting a baby in March 2026! It’s been 19 wonderful weeks already, and honestly, it feels like a dream. I’m incredibly grateful, feeling truly blessed, and beyond excited to welcome our little one to the Walker family. It’s a new chapter, and we couldn’t be happier!
The actress portrayed Grace Vickers on the show from 2019 to 2022, and was part of a groundbreaking cast as one of the first Black families featured on the series.
Paul proposed to Kate as they dined out at a restaurant in June 2021.
She shared with her fans that she cried when he proposed to her at a steakhouse.
Kate shared some posts on social media recalling a memory from three years prior: ‘He once asked me what my perfect day would be like.’
I want to start my day with a productive routine: waking up early, getting a workout in, having some personal downtime, enjoying good food and coffee, and then doing something related to acting or theater.
Yesterday was a busy but fun day! We hit the gym, enjoyed some delicious coffee, rehearsed lines for Coronation Street, took a short walk, then relaxed at a pub with a game of backgammon. We finished the day by making and eating tiramisu and steak.
‘It was perfect. And then this happened.’
Kate shared the happy news of her engagement by posting a glowing selfie. The photo shows her embracing Paul and displaying her new ring.
She posted photos on Instagram showing the day Paul proposed.
One of the photos showed them happily hugging in a garden, and Kate’s engagement ring was clearly visible.
Kate posted a screenshot of the Zoom call where she told her family she was engaged.
She could be seen proudly holding up her hand, with her engagement ring prominently on display.
The caption for a final image read: ‘I b****y love you. (And I’m super thankful you swiped right.’
Kate explained that right after he finished his steak and before dessert arrived, while he was enjoying a coffee, he made her cry uncontrollably.
‘A million times over, completely and utterly yes.’
