CookieRun: OvenSmash, Devsisters’ new urban fantasy action title is gearing up for a Closed Beta Test for Android and iOS

Devsisters has revealed plans for a closed beta test (CBT) for their forthcoming urban fantasy action game, “CookieRun: OvenSmash”, with the specific date to be disclosed around mid-April 2025. Interested participants can register for the CBT before April 15, 2025.

This test is restricted to specific regions, namely Korea and a few others. Devsisters unveiled numerous aspects of the game during their first online event ‘Dev Now 2022’, such as gameplay mechanics, character roster, and additional details.

Here, you’ll find yourself immersed in thrilling 3-minute 3 versus 3 battles. Choose from a diverse roster of unique characters, each adding their own distinctive flair to the gameplay. Furthermore, you can pick your desired battleground for the match!

At the bustling Platter Plaza, various groups of bakers unite, offering a diverse array of cookies. Here’s what you can anticipate:

In the vibrant setting of Platter Plaza, an assortment of cookie-making clans gather. Prepare yourself for:

• Café Fruit Bomber: Fruit Punch Cookie, Melon Soda Cookie, and Ice Pop Cookie.
• The Grinders: Jerky Cookie, Bacon Roll Cookie, and Black Pudding Cookie.
• The Lactoses: Brie Cheese Cookie, Camembert Cookie, and String Cheese Cookie.

I’m really looking forward to encountering DJ Miya, who won last season’s Oven Crown Cup and now acts as our city’s representative and a beloved figure. Besides the characters, the game boasts several play modes like the Wanted Star mode, Battle Royale Mode, Treasure Hunt Mode, and others.

I can’t wait to cross paths with DJ Miya, last season’s Oven Crown Cup champ, who has taken on the roles of city ambassador and beloved idol. Apart from the characters, this game presents multiple play modes, such as Wanted Star mode, Battle Royale Mode, Treasure Hunt Mode, and more.

How to register for the Closed Beta Test

As a thrilled supporter, I’m excited to share some fantastic news! We’re looking forward to a Closed Beta Test (CBT) coming our way, with details on the dates being revealed around mid-April. The developers are eagerly anticipating this CBT to ensure our game runs smoothly and the content is accurate. However, keep in mind that during this process, you might occasionally encounter server instability, technical glitches, or application crashes. But remember, these hiccups are part of the process to make our gaming experience even better!

In other words, please note that the Closed Beta Test (CBT) for CookieRun: OvenSmash will only be accessible in Korea and certain specified areas. The full list of these regions will be disclosed at a later time. Here’s how you can sign up for the CBT:

• First, visit their official website.
• Next, click on Pre-register Now.
• There, choose either Android or iOS and enter your email address or App Store account mail.
• Now, agree to the terms and then tap Send Code.
• Verify your email by entering the received code.
• With this, your registration will be complete.

For iOS users, you’ll find the game by using Apple’s TestFlight platform, while Android users will get a specific download link within the Google Play Store. If chosen, you’ll receive an email notification. Please be aware that when the test concludes, all game data will be wiped clean, so your progress won’t continue from where it was.
