CookieRun: OvenSmash, Devsisters’ latest title in the CookieRun IP to begin Closed Beta testing in April 2025

Devsisters has revealed plans for a Closed Beta Test (CBT) of their forthcoming urban fantasy action game, “CookieRun: OvenSmash”, with the testing date yet to be confirmed in mid-April 2025. Registration for this beta test is open until April 15, 2025.

This test is restricted to Korea and certain other areas. Devsisters unveiled numerous details about the game during their first online event ‘Dev Now 2022’, such as gameplay aspects, character lineup, and additional information.

OvenSmash” is an action title in the fantasy genre, taking place within the bustling cityscape known as “Platter City“. Here, you’ll find yourself participating in thrilling 3-minute 3 vs. 3 battles. You can pick from a diverse cast of characters, each one adding their own unique flair to the game. Moreover, you have the freedom to choose your desired battleground for the match.

At the bustling heart of Platter Plaza, diverse groups of cookie enthusiasts unite. Expect a delightful mix as you visit:

• Café Fruit Bomber: Fruit Punch Cookie, Melon Soda Cookie, and Ice Pop Cookie.
• The Grinders: Jerky Cookie, Bacon Roll Cookie, and Black Pudding Cookie.
• The Lactoses: Brie Cheese Cookie, Camembert Cookie, and String Cheese Cookie.

How to register for the CookieRun: OvenSmash closed beta CBT

The great news is there are plans for a Closed Beta Test (CBT), with details to be revealed around mid-April. During this test, the developers aim to assess game stability and confirm content accuracy. However, please keep in mind that you might experience occasional server instability, technical glitches, or app crashes while testing.

In other words, please note that the Closed Beta Test (CBT) for CookieRun: OvenSmash is restricted to Korea and certain designated areas only. The specific regions where access will be allowed are yet to be disclosed. Here’s how you can sign up for the beta test:

• First, visit their official website.
• Next, click on Pre-register Now.
• There, choose either Android or iOS and enter your email address or App Store account mail.
• Now, agree to the terms and then tap Send Code.
• Verify your email by entering the received code.
• With this, your registration will be complete.

For iOS users, you’ll need to grab the game using Apple’s TestFlight service, while Android users can expect a direct download link from the Google Play Store. If you’re selected, you’ll receive an email notification. Just remember that when the testing phase concludes, all game data will be wiped clean, so your progress won’t persist beyond that point.
