As a thrilled supporter, I’m eagerly anticipating the release of the latest update for Cookie Run: Kingdom, titled “Secrets of the Order“. This exciting update is scheduled to go live following maintenance, expected around 06:00 – 10:00 (GMT+9) on August 27th, 2025. The update promises a wealth of new content, including fresh cookies, events, permanent features, and much more!

Some parts of the upcoming content might undergo modifications before it’s officially launched. The revised details will be posted in the patch notes upon the update’s completion. As of now, the forthcoming update promises a variety of fresh elements like new Cookies, Episodes, Limited Events, Toppings, Treasures, QoL enhancements, and much more!

Cookie Run: Kingdom Version 6.8 Update: New Cookie Characters

Super Epic Cookie: Doughael

  • Rarity: Super Epic
  • Type: Healing

For a specific duration, this character restores the health of allies, offers Defense and Attack boosts, as well as Debuff resistance. Later on, Doughae’s faith illuminates, mending allies, attacking enemies, driving them back, and imposing Sacred Preachings upon them.

When employing his ability, Doughael eradicates debuffs from chosen targets by utilizing his power known as Disciple of the Abyss. To conclude, Doughael instills both Fervor and Blessings of Devotion upon his targets, offering them healing whenever they sustain damage over a set duration and rendering them immune to disabling effects.

At the onset of a fight, Doughael bestows the title of “Disciple of the Abyss” onto their ally with the highest attack power (not including themselves). This boosts the ally’s attack power and damage reduction ability. If this empowered ally falls in battle, it triggers “Selfless Sacrifice”, amplifying Doughael’s attack and defense.

The bonus will be given to the ally with the greatest Attack Power in the next turn. If Doughael gets defeated, Disciple of the Abyss will boost the target’s Attack Power and expedite their healing speed. During battle, Doughael’s Cooldown time lessens as their Health Regeneration rate rises, and they are shielded from debilitating effects.

Epic Cookie: Seltzer Cookie

  • Rarity: Epic
  • Type: Support

Generates a Carbonated Field that attracts foes, causing harm. Following this, an attack called Bubble Rain is unleashed, damaging enemies, healing allies, and applying the Bubble Up buff. Water-based Cookies receive a CRIT Damage boost. When combined with Menthol Cookies, enemies and bosses are afflicted by the Stinging Fizz debuff.

Epic Cookie: Menthol Cookie

  • Rarity: Epic
  • Type: Bomber

Emits Menthol Gas, harming opponents. If adversaries are under the influence of “Perpetual Stream”, it inflicts extra damage and applies a “Critical Damage Debuff”. Following this, the gas detonates, dealing increased damage proportional to the number of enemies struck. If enemies carry the “Stinging Bubbles” debuff, explosions trigger further “Bubble Fizz Explosions”, causing area damage.

New Resonant Toppings: Fuzzy Wuzzy Toppings

The latest additions to our game are specialized toppings named Resonant Toppings, which can only be placed on specific cookies. These new toppings can be fitted onto Doughael, Seltzer Cookie, Menthol Cookie, and Madeleine Cookie. Regardless of whether they’re regular or Resonant Toppings, if all the equipped toppings belong to the same set, their collective effect will become active.

New Beascuits: Surging Beascuits

  • Obtainable in Beast-Yeast Ep. 1 & 2, pre-upgraded to Lv.20.
  • Higher difficulty yields better Beascuits.
  • Available via Balloon Expeditions after obtaining 90 Stars in each episode.

MyCookie Adventure

Experience a fresh, laid-back roguelike action game with items, equipment, and enhancements. Enter the fray by finding the ‘Peanut Sandwich Cookie’ stall in the Town Square.

Dive into an exciting new roguelite action mode filled with loot, gear, and upgrades! Find your way to the Peanut Sandwich Cookie kiosk located in the Town Square.

  • New Stages: 20 additional stages. Completing Stage 60 unlocks new backgrounds and stickers.
  • Survival Mode: Available after Stage 60. Survive 20 waves of enemies for rewards.
  • Rewards: Gear and upgrade items carry over between seasons. Tickets, coins, and materials reset.

Guild Siege

Guild Siege: Fortress in Flames is a new, large-scale seasonal battle mode lasting 7 days.

  • Season 1: September 1 – September 8 (GMT+9)
  • Season 2: September 15 – September 22 (GMT+9)

The prizes will depend on how actively players participate and perform well, with Siege Tokens being necessary to advance further. These tokens get replenished each day at 20:00 (GMT+9).

Siege Progression

Guild associates can take on various locations (enemies, arenas, scouting grounds, outposts) until the end of Day 4. Starting from Day 5, both Bound Guardians and regular Guardians will become accessible. By clearing locations early on Day 4, you’ll gain early access to new content. Control Rating and cooking food offer beneficial effects. Capturing outposts could potentially weaken enemy guardians. The Artillery Order Event offers rewards and advantages for clearing nodes on Day 4.

Special Features

  • Siege Cookies: Up to 10 Cookies may be chosen; resets allowed 3 times.
  • Cooking: Buffs gained by cooking; leaders choose first. After 2 hours, all members can select dishes.
  • Arena Battles: Enemy Cookies’ HP carries over between fights.
  • Enemies: Multiple waves, progress carries over until cleared.
  • Bound Guardians: Linked to Guardians—defeating them weakens them.
  • Guardians: Award points based on damage dealt.
