On July 16th, 2025, the popular game Cookie Run: Kingdom will unveil its latest update titled “Starlight Island“. This update is scheduled for release following maintenance, which is expected to take place around 06:00 – 10:00 (GMT+9). Players can look forward to a plethora of new content, including new cookies, events, permanent features, and much more with this exciting update!

The material in this upcoming release might undergo some adjustments before it goes live. Any final revisions will be detailed in the update notes upon completion of the update. For now, expect an abundance of fresh features like new Cookies, episodes, limited-time events, toppings, treasures, quality-of-life improvements, and much more!

Cookie Run: Kingdom Version 6.7 Update: New Cookie Characters

Epic Cookie: Lemon Cookie

  • Type: Magic

Ability Overview: In a zesty smash, the Orange Cookie sends out three tennis balls that burst upon impact, causing damage and triggering effects. The initial explosion introduces Zesty Juice, enhancing CRIT damage received and inflicting Zap. Subsequent explosions target enemies already affected by Zap for additional damage. The intensity of Zesty Juice stacks increase based on the number of Citrus Squad Cookies present.

When any ally Cookie, other than the Orange Cookie, inflicts Critical Damage on an enemy already affected by Zesty Juice, it activates a special effect, dealing additional Electricity-type damage. This effect vanishes immediately, but it boosts the target’s susceptibility to Electricity-type damage. The more Citrus Squad Cookies in your team, the stronger this Citrus Party effect becomes. Gathering all members of the Citrus Squad is sure to create unforgettable summer moments!

Palm Tree Harvest Festival

The Town Square has returned with a buzz! It’s once again hosting the Palm Tree Harvest Festival, and it’s open round-the-clock! I must admit, I’m really hooked on these fun mini-games, especially when I can enjoy them with friends. The aim? Collaborate to cut down the massive palm tree, all while dodging falling branches. You gain points, create combos, and activate Fever Mode by gathering the letters T-R-E-E!

In the second week, the “Hard Bark Mechanic” is introduced, marking the start of the intense gameplay. This feature offers substantial combo enhancements if timed correctly. It’s a whirlwind of action, it’s swift, and I must admit, it’s been quite some time since I’ve enjoyed button-mashing this much.

The rewards from playing Town Square Coins are worth the effort. Moreover, if you’re someone who enjoys competition, there’s even a seasonal leaderboard for you. However, remember not to leave the game unattended as you won’t earn much when you do!

Starlight Island! Error Busters Season 2

Error Busters is back with Season 2, and I’m genuinely surprised how much I enjoy this game mode. Starlight Island’s glitchy sci-fi vibes return with all-new enemies, mechanics, and Bug Fix Effects, and your progress from Season 1 carries over. I love when a mode respects the time you’ve already put in.

Notably, Lemon Cookies’ soulstones will no longer be available for purchase. Instead, Orange Cookie’s soulstones are dominating the shop, so seize the opportunity to gather them before they’re gone! It’s also important to note that a new ranked season has commenced. If you’re a player who enjoys fine-tuning your team compositions, this is your moment to show off your strategic skills!

To put it simply, a Beach Cookie party won’t feel right without some planning details, and it’s obvious that Orange Cookie is a meticulous organizer. In our upcoming summer-themed delivery occasion, you’ll be assisting her in collecting Beach Party supplies by exchanging specified items.
