As a seasoned player of Cookie Run: Kingdom, I must say that the latest update has really taken my taste buds on a wild rollercoaster ride! From the new character, Pecan Pie, who is as sweet as her name suggests, to the return of some old favorites like Lemon Meringue and Gingerbrave, the roster has never been more mouth-watering.

Cookie Run: Kingdom is about to launch its next major update, titled “The Grand Cookie Games“, following maintenance scheduled around 06:00 – 10:00 (GMT+9) on December 4. This exciting new version will feature the annual year-end Grand Cookie Games.

Certain parts of the content for this upcoming update might undergo adjustments prior to its launch. The complete list of these modifications will be detailed in the patch notes once the update has been fully implemented. For now, expect a wealth of fresh material including new Cookies, Episodes, Limited-time Events, Toppings, Treasures, Quality-of-Life improvements, and other exciting features!

Cookie Run: Kingdom Version 5.13 Update: New Cookie Characters

Epic Cookie: Choco Drizzle Cookie

• Rarity: Epic
• Type: Ambush

Ability Summary: The elusive Choco Drizzle Cookie lurks in the shadows and marks the farthest adversary (prioritizing other Cookies), applying a Penumbral Mark and an Aura of Darkness to them. This is followed by delivering 8 consecutive attacks to the marked target and nearby enemies. If the marked target already has a Penumbral Mark, it triggers Drizzle Strike, inflicting extra damage. In case the Penumbral Mark is on another Cookie, it transfers to the closest Cookie when the initial target is defeated, reducing Choco Drizzle Cookie’s remaining cooldown time.

In a single fight, the CoolDown reduction can happen up to 3 times. However, if the Penumbral Mark is not on a non-Cookie character, neither the carry-over effect nor the CoolDown decrease will occur. If an opponent’s health drops below a specific threshold, Choco Drizzle Cookie will recognize their vulnerability and quickly execute a Drizzle Strike, dealing increased damage. This action can only be activated once for each enemy. After using her skill, Choco Drizzle Cookie will prioritize targets with the Penumbral Mark, disregarding any taunt influences.

Epic Cookie: Pudding à la Mode Cookie

• Rarity: Epic
• Type: Bomber

Ability Summary: In combat, Pudding à la Mode Cookie alters her arms into plasma cannons, firing potent plasma blasts at adversaries. Following this, she summons drones that attack the same enemies during normal attacks. These drone attacks are considered as part of Pudding à la Mode Cookie’s standard assault. The drones will focus on targets marked with Penumbral Mark.

New Resonant Toppings: Iris Gem

Explore the latest Resonant Topping options, suitable for specific Cookie varieties. These Resonant Toppings can be applied by the Choco Drizzle Cookie, Pudding à la Mode Cookie, and Green Tea Mousse Cookie. You can combine Resonant Toppings with standard Toppings to trigger combined effects. Resonant Toppings offer greater bonus effect intensities compared to regular ones, and they might feature unique sets of bonus effects distinct from those of regular Toppings.

Arcade Arena

Engage in combat at the Arcade Battlefield, which boasts exclusive elements and visuals with every changing season. Experience a variety of fight modes within the Arcade Battlefield.

• Season 1: Battle of the Epics: Duration: Dec 4, 06:30 – Dec 18, 09:59 (GMT+9). Only Epic Cookies can fight in this mode.
• Season 2: Ultimate Clash: Duration: Dec 18, 10:00 – Dec 31, 09:59 (GMT+9). Cookies of all rarities can fight in this mode.
• Season 3: Epic Showdown: Duration: Dec 31, 10:00:00 – Jan 15, 05:59 (GMT+9). Only Epic Cookies can fight in this grand-scale battle mode.

Each season brings its own unique set of rules and offers exclusive Seasonal Cookies that can be accessed. The counting period commences prior to the season’s conclusion, with a few exceptions: Battles will be temporarily suspended during this time, but the Arcade Arena Shop will continue to operate. The selection of playable Cookies changes based on the current season.

Step into the Thrilling Game Hub with the Game Hub Entry Passes, engage in combat encounters. These passes will replenish on their own over time, approximately once every 3 hours, or you can obtain them by using Crystals or watching an advertisement. In the final week of the season, a fresh rule is introduced to encourage diverse battle tactics. Hone your strategy in the training zone. Players have the freedom to arrange their attack squads and experiment with strategies without needing a separate defense team.

In Arcade Arena, your progression spans from Chocolate to Grandmaster tiers. At the end of every season, your rank resets back to Chocolate. Gain rewards based on the highest tier attained during the season, and also when advancing to a new tier. You can acquire various items in the Arcade Arena Marketplace using Arcade Arena Coins, which you earn by triumphing in battles. The amount of coins awarded varies depending on your current tier. Keep in mind that the marketplace inventory changes with each new season.

RUN WITH MYCOOKIE!

Compete against other digital cookies in a town square setting, collect items, and plan your way to reach the finish line first. The game “Run with MyCookie!” will be available during these hours:

• 00:00 – 02:00
• 05:00 – 07:00
• 11:00 – 13:00
• 16:00 – 18:00
• 20:00 – 22:00

In “Run with MyCookie!”, a total of 4 to 8 players can participate. The game is broken down into several rounds. At the conclusion of each round, there’s a Safety Tile that everyone must reach within just 10 seconds. Failing to do so will cause your action points to decrease. You can move faster by using your Action Points, which also allow you to slide over obstacles and go around No-step Tiles. Difficult tiles require you to jump and slide to navigate them. From Round 2 onwards, Number Tiles will appear. If the number of Cookies standing on the tile matches the number at the end of the round, players can claim items. Starting from Round 3, Item Chests will also appear.
