Cookie Run: Kingdom Guide: Tips to beat the Red Velvet Dragon Boss
In the world of Cookie Run: Kingdom, the game mode known as Guild Battle stands out due to its weekly rewards system. The more prominent your guild’s standing, the more lucrative the rewards become. However, climbing up the ranks can be challenging if you’re not dealing enough damage to the bosses. One of these formidable bosses in the Guild Battle of Cookie Run Kingdom is none other than the Red Velvet Dragon Boss. Here are some strategies to help you conquer it.
How to beat the Red Velvet Dragon Boss in Cookie Run: Kingdom
Red Velvet Dragon: Best Team to Use

To get the best performance out of Dark Choco, it’s essential to allocate stats carefully: His damage resistance needs to be set at a precise level of 75%, which is the maximum allowed with the landmark bonus factored in. As for his HP, aim for approximately 80% but adjust it higher if durability becomes crucial. However, prioritize his survivability first before focusing on reducing his cooldown by around 10-11%.
Shadow Milk, another vital ingredient, requires a 35% cooldown period, the highest possible critical hit rate, and either the maximum attack speed or raw attack power (to prevent it from exceeding Candy Apple’s or Black Sapphire’s attack power). The toppings can be either five criticles with a cooldown-tart or four criticles and one cooldown-tart with a critical hit-tart, along with a fully cooldown-charged Beascuit.
This version aims to maintain the original meaning while making it more accessible for readers who might not be familiar with gaming terminology like “crit rate,” “cooldown,” “toppings,” etc.
In a similar vein, Prune Juice‘s design features a 35% cooldown, optimal critical hit rate, and maximum attack speed to avoid conflicting with Black Sapphire‘s attack sequence. On the other hand, Black Sapphire functions as the main damage dealer, requiring at least an 8.5% cooldown, optimal critical hit rate, and maximum attack power, with his attack stat being either the highest or second-highest within the team composition.
The structure of Candy Apple changes based on whether or not she possesses a Whistle. In the presence of the Whistle, she requires an approximately 50-55% damage resistance, around 8% cooldown, and the maximum possible attack speed. If the Whistle is absent, her damage resistance needs to be increased to between 60-70%.
The following Treasures should be equipped for this boss challenge:
- Sleepyhead’s Jelly Watch
- Dream Conductor’s Whistle
- Old Pilgrim’s Scroll
Battle Strategy
The sequence begins with placing Dark Choco at the forefront, then triggering Prune Juice, Shadow Milk, Black Sapphire, and Candy Apple in succession once the boss’s banner emerges. Once the dragon pushes your team back, delay Dark Choco’s next cast until he starts moving forward (approximately 40 seconds after). From then on, let the fight run automatically while ensuring Black Sapphire and Dark Choco avoid getting stunned. This arrangement usually results in approximately 14 billion points of damage.
