Convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby kicks back with a beer as she continues European vacation with a stop in weed-friendly Amsterdam
As a lifestyle expert with a penchant for travel and personal transformation stories, I find Schapelle Corby‘s journey truly captivating. Her resilience and ability to rebuild her life after such a tumultuous chapter is nothing short of inspiring.
Schapelle Corby has been touring around Europe on the vacation of a lifetime.
As an ardent admirer, let me share a captivating tale. Once a felon, serving time for illicit drug trafficking, I now find myself reborn as an artisan clockmaker. After soaking up the enchanting allure of Paris, I’ve since transplanted my life to the vibrant heart of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
On Friday, the woman aged 47 posted several images from her trip to the beautiful Zandvoort Beach area on Instagram, showcasing them online.
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but exclaim that Zandvoort is more than just a picturesque coastal village! Just look at this stunning shot she shared with the caption: “Zandvoort, a beautiful beach town.” She even added a mischievous thinking face emoji to it! Simply enchanting!
In the images, Schapelle sipped on a large pint of beer while dress in a boho floral frock with crochet details.
Amsterdam is well-known for its legal coffeehouses, where it’s permissible to purchase small quantities of cannabis and hashish.
After Kyle Sandilands recently expressed his opinion on the origin of Schapelle’s luggage containing drugs, following her high-profile arrest at Bali airport about 20 years back.
Schapelle was incarcerated for nine years for attempting to smuggle cannabis into Indonesia.
In October 2004, she was apprehended at the Bali airport with approximately 4.2 kilograms of cannabis, sealed in plastic, hidden within a boogie board case she was carrying.
Schapelle has always maintained her innocence and her lawyers argued she had unintentionally become a drug mule, suggesting baggage handlers put the drugs in her bag.
Radio shock jock Kyle, 53, discussed her incarceration on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
He stated that he thinks the smugglers might have overlooked removing the cannabis from the luggage during the transfer flight from Brisbane to Sydney, potentially causing it to unintentionally continue onto Bali.

He mentioned that he believes an item, which was supposed to travel from Brisbane to Sydney, might not have been included in the shipment. Instead, it seems to have been overlooked and unintentionally sent to Bali.
Additionally, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, his fellow host, expressed her compassion for Schapelle, stating that she felt the nine-year prison term was unfair to her.
Jackie asserted, “She came very close to being utterly upset about it. Regardless of whether she was responsible for it or not, I believe the hardships she experienced were not justified.”
After being freed from an Indonesian prison in 2014, Schapelle has since established a new life for herself and is currently thriving as a skilled clockmaker.
This year, she showcased her vibrant watches to her 162,000 fans, usually priced at approximately $220 each.
