Controversial influencer Jacquie Alexander knocks back a shot of vodka on the way to marriage with Olympian Nathan Ephraums

Jacquie Alexander has tied the knot with her hockey star partner Nathan Ephraums.

The influencer, who often sparks debate, announced on Instagram this week that she and her partner got married in Melbourne on Saturday.

Jacquie posted a sweet black and white photo of her kissing her husband, who is 26, likely at their wedding reception.

Jacquie looked over the moon as she lovingly wrapped her arms around her husband’s neck.

For their magical photo, the couple posed amongst beautiful arrangements of hydrangeas and peonies.

Jacquie captioned the affectionate photo simply with ‘Mr and Mrs,’ and her followers quickly responded with enthusiastic excitement and congratulations.

AFL WAG Annalise Dalins offered a warm: ‘Congratulations,’ and a love heart emoji.

‘Truly no words for how perfect this is,’ another chimed in.

One fan beautifully captured what many were thinking, writing: ‘Absolutely breathtaking bride! Congratulations to the happy couple!’

Before her wedding, Jacquie shared a photo on Instagram showing off her beautiful off-the-shoulder wedding dress.

Jacquie beamed with excitement, showing off her dress while holding a beautiful bouquet of calla lilies.

Despite some pre-wedding jitters, Jacquie revealed a fun video of herself and her father enjoying a few vodka shots on their way to the ceremony.

Jacquie got married shortly after having to deny accusations that she had sabotaged her former best friend’s wedding.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following this story with interest. Back in September, Gabi Sullivan, who’s 31, shared on TikTok that she and a well-known fashion and beauty influencer are no longer friends. It’s always sad to hear about friendships ending, and it definitely sparked a lot of conversation online.

She captioned the video with a thought-provoking message: ‘Some people will never forgive you for the things they did to you.’ She then emphasized the point by adding, ‘Read that again.’

Gabi elaborated on the statement in a reply to a fan who asked the model to ‘spill the tea’.

Gabi responded by saying that Jacquie became intoxicated at her wedding to Nathan Cross and caused a scene, ultimately making the bride cry.

Gabi explained that the real issue was her friend got extremely drunk at the wedding, publicly argued with her in front of everyone, and upset her so much she started crying.

‘Obviously after that our friendship never recovered. I’m just trying to move on with my life.

It’s disappointing and frankly embarrassing that even in 2025, some grown women still engage in drama and bullying.

Speaking to Daily Mail, Jacquie rubbished Gabi’s claims as completely false.

‘To set the record straight. I did not yell at Gabi’s wedding, nor did I ruin her day. We continued to remain friends post her wedding day,’ she said.

The story feels incomplete, lacking a crucial understanding of what it’s like to be in a truly unhealthy friendship. It’s clear that these two people just weren’t a good fit for each other, and sometimes that’s all there is to it.

Ultimately, the relationship wasn’t good for either of us, and that’s why we broke up. This wasn’t the first time this had happened – I’d forgiven her before and given things another chance.

Honestly, it really upset me to hear Jacquie talk about how much those accusations hurt her. She explained that it felt like a public shaming, and I could really feel her pain. It was awful to hear her describe how deeply affected she was.

‘These accusations are false and hurtful,’ she said.

‘What has been more upsetting is the ongoing bullying and public shaming directed at me since.

I’ve always made sure to remember this day belonged to Gabi, and I wouldn’t do anything to overshadow that. However, respect is a two-way street. I won’t stay quiet while people try to damage my reputation.

Jacquie revealed that Nathan had popped the question back in August 2024.

She announced her joyful news shortly after watching her fiancé, age 25, play for the Australian hockey team, the Kookaburras, at the Olympics in Paris.
