Control Spin-off Fbc: Firebreak Gets New Trailer, Features a Pink Goo Gun
Remedy Entertainment unveiled the latest trailer for their forthcoming spin-off title, Control: Firebreak, showcasing an abundance of extraordinary scenes.
Among all, the standout is a gun that discharges a pink substance, bearing resemblance to the Gloo Gun seen in 2017’s Prey.
For enthusiasts of the intricate and contemplative game “Control”, this might not be your cup of tea, as it veers away from that somber, introspective style. Instead, it leans towards a frenetic shooter experience. However, since it’s still set within the ever-changing corridors of the Federal Bureau of Control, there will likely be subtle nods and hidden references that might excite you.
The description reads:
In the eldest dwelling, you’ll encounter perilous supernatural risks such as a Blazing Furnace unleashing flames throughout the Utility Zone or explosive Pink Alien Matter that ignites on contact. As a Firefighter, it falls upon you and your team to confront these hazards bravely, manage them effectively, and make a safe exit.
Firebreak – A 3-player cooperative first-person shooter game, set within the mysterious Federal Bureau of Control (FBC). In this narrative, the FBC’s headquarters is under a lethal and prolonged attack by otherworldly forces. Only Firebreak, the most versatile response unit in the Bureau, possesses the necessary skills and bravery to bring order back to the chaos.
FBC: Firebreak is out in summer, 2025, on PlayStation 5, Series X/S, and PC.
