Contender Series Week 2 weigh-in results

As a hardcore MMA enthusiast with years of watching fights under my belt (pun intended), I can’t help but get pumped for the upcoming Dana White’s Contender Series! The first episode was a knockout, and I can feel the adrenaline building for the second one on Aug. 20.

The inaugural episode of Season 8 for Dana White’s Contender Series ran smoothly, and UFC president Dana White awarded contracts following five bouts, with four of these fights resulting in finishes. In the upcoming second episode, slated for August 20th, another five contests will be featured, featuring more aspiring fighters vying for a contract.

The main event of this occasion features a clash between Pat Pytlik from Canada (9-1) and Andreas Gustafsson of Sweden (10-2). Pytlik is currently on a winning spree with his last two victories, both secured in the first round under Unified MMA. Meanwhile, Gustafsson is also riding high with two consecutive wins, both earned in the first round under Fight Club Rush.

In this main event, we have a clash between Rizvan Kuniev (12-2) from Russia and Hugo Cunha of Brazil in the heavyweight division. Additionally, there are three fights scheduled: two bouts for the men’s bantamweight category and one fight at 185 pounds, which will all be part of the episode.
