Conor McGregor lost his mind when Donald Trump named Khabib his favorite UFC fighter

As a seasoned gamer and UFC enthusiast with years of virtual combat under my belt, I can’t help but feel a sense of dismay watching this spectacle unfold between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov. The rivalry between these two titans has always been intense, but the recent Twitter spat is a new low, even for them.

Conor McGregor is publicly lashing out on Twitter in response to a video showing Donald Trump naming Khabib Nurmagomedov as his preferred UFC fighter. McGregor has posted several tweets (some of which have since been removed) criticizing both Trump and Nurmagomedov, though the situation seems regrettably sad rather than humorous.

“Campaign ending decision,” McGregor wrote on the clip revealing Trump’s choice. “A smelly fat mountain monkey from the inbred mountains of Dagestan is your favorite UFC (AMERICAN COMPANY) fighter? Wow. Abysmal.”

He went on to tweet a whole lot more, evening bringin Michael Chandler into the mix after he defended Trump. “I was actually wrong. Couple hundred million he is worth. Not multi B. I would have thought USA ONLY would be the mentality here and what I would want to see out of my president, personally,” McGregor tweeted. “To pick a retired inbred fighter from Dagestan Russia who has 3 main events only to his name is astounding. Over all the American fighters that have backed him. It’s a shocking decision. He was caught on the spot. That won’t go unnoticed on the roster. This presidential race is very tight right now. More so now.”

Afterward, Chandler joined the conversation to advocate for the battle they were meant to have had approximately two months back. On Twitter, he wrote, “Cut it out.” If you possessed even half of DT’s courage, you would have been present on June 29th. Instead, you’re just going about your usual life, drinking beer, in the manner of Austin 3:16, at a regional fight event/motorcycle gathering in South Dakota. And let me remind you, that state is deeply red and unwavering in its support.

Later on, McGregor posted an image of Nurmagomedov relaxing in a bathtub alongside his training buddies. This picture has been trending online for quite some time now.

Later, McGregor hit rock bottom when he tweeted disrespectfully about Khabib Nurmagomedov’s late father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov. Abdulmanap passed away in 2020 due to COVID-19, and was highly esteemed by Russian fighting community.

As a longtime follower of mixed martial arts (MMA), I can’t help but be deeply moved by the recent events surrounding Khabib Nurmagomedov and his father Abdulmanap. In light of Conor McGregor’s tweet questioning why Khabib’s father was never allowed entry to America, I feel compelled to share my thoughts on this matter.

As a fervent admirer, I must say that the animosity between McGregor and Nurmagomedov is profound and can be traced back to the pre-match banter leading up to their UFC 209 encounter, which culminated in a fierce melee within the Octagon. It seems history has a way of repeating itself.
