The new Irish detective drama, Blackshore, has quickly become a hit on BBC iPlayer, climbing to the top of the “Most Popular” list. The six-episode series follows Detective Sergeant Fia Lucey (played by Lisa Dwan, known for her roles in Bloodlands with James Nesbitt and Top Boy) as she works to solve a puzzling local case.

The crime drama Blackshore originally aired in Ireland on RTÉ in early 2024. The cast also features Rory Keenan (known from Somewhere Boy), Stanley Townsend (Kaos), Orla Charlton (Ellis), Clara Fitzgerald (The Vanishing Triangle), and Barry McGovern (The Tudors).
