Comic-Con 2025: Exclusive Marvel, DC, and Star Wars Panels Revealed
The upcoming San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2025 schedule unveils an array of thrilling panels in realms such as Star Wars, DC, and Marvel. SDCC 2025 is just around the corner, happening between July 24th to July 27th. This annual pop culture extravaganza is renowned for groundbreaking announcements in the entertainment sector (such as last year’s Robert Downey Jr./Doctor Doom unveiling), with major studios showcasing their best talents and intellectual properties. Regrettably, Hall H presentations from Marvel Studios and DC Studios are absent this year; however, there are still numerous other events to eagerly anticipate.
Regarding Marvel Studios, even though they won’t be hosting their usual Saturday panel, they are still anticipated to make an appearance at the event, especially given the upcoming release of “The Fantastic Four: First Steps“. DC has just released “Superman>”, and director James Gunn and his cast for his upcoming DC project are set to attend SDCC. As for Star Wars, they have less to promote currently, but Lucasfilm is working on a special surprise for fans during the last day of Comic-Con.
During the five-day span of Comic-Con, numerous intriguing panels have been planned for non-Star Wars, Marvel, and DC projects. These events are designed to fill in the void left by certain studios.

What News and Announcements To Expect From Comic-Con in 2025
Although major reveals usually accompany Marvel Studios, DC Studios, or Lucasfilm panels and might be missing this year, there’s still an abundance of valuable information to gather at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2023.
One of the key DC-themed discussions this year is scheduled for Saturday’s Hall H “Peacemaker” session. During this event, expect updates and insights into Season 2 of the HBO series (a forthcoming part of the DC Universe) along with potentially a new trailer or sneak peek. Additionally, creator James Gunn will participate in the panel, which may bring news about the broader DC Studios universe.
On Sunday, movie enthusiasts and Star Wars aficionados can anticipate George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars, making his debut at Comic-Con. The filmmaker will be present to announce the opening of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles, and he’ll be accompanied by fellow imaginative mind Guillermo del Toro, making this a not-to-be-missed panel for cinema lovers and Star Wars fans everywhere.
This year, Marvel Studios has a relatively smaller presence at San Diego Comic-Con, as they’re not hosting any panels for their upcoming animated or Disney+ MCU projects. However, there will still be lots to look forward to, including presentations from Marvel video games such as Marvel Rivals and Marvel SNAP.
At this convention, beyond the main group of franchises, attendees can anticipate developments from blockbuster movies such as “TRON: Ares,” “Predator: Badlands,” and “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.” These movies are set to release this year, suggesting that new trailers or footage will be unveiled for all of them. In terms of television content, there will also be updates (possibly including trailers) for beloved series like “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” Season 2, “Gen V” Season 2, and “The Legend of Vox Machina” Season 4.
