Comedian Jared Fried makes a play to be the next Bachelor despite being ‘too fat’ and spending his career critiquing the show: ‘There’s room for a normal Bachelor’
As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for entertainment and entrepreneurship, I find Jared Fried’s ambition to be the next Bachelor intriguing, given his unique perspective as a comedian who dissects the show so humorously through his Rose Rehash series. His desire to involve his mother in the process adds an endearing touch that could potentially bring a fresh twist to the show.
Humorist Jared Fried, famous for his widely-watched YouTube reviews of The Bachelor, is uncertain if he’ll ever get selected to star on the program personally.
During his latest stint on “RentFree” hosted by Bilt Rewards with Ankur Jain, the comedian expressed his belief that he might not possess the suitable appearance for ABC’s dating show.
When Jain inquired about participating in the well-known reality show, Fried expressed his interest but added, “I might take part, yet I’m overweight for The Bachelor. However, I believe there could be a place for an ordinary Bachelor.”
He continued: ‘I actually want be the Bachelor because I want to get my mom involved, but I want to see [the contestants} deal with my mom.’
On the initial group outing, Fried elaborated a chuckle-worthy strategy. The ladies were to play baristas serving his mother coffee at Starbucks. However, here’s the unexpected element – his mom has an unusual and eccentric coffee order.
“Jokingly, he said, ‘You may assume it’s simple, but you’ve never witnessed my mother ordering a coffee.'”
She will stride in, ordering casually, “I’d like a tall, frothy drink, double espresso with nuts, and two scoops of foam.” Her request may seem unusual to some, but she delivers it as if it were the most ordinary order.
‘And then we’ll see how patient these women are with this woman.’
Regardless of his small possibility of being chosen as the next Bachelor, Fried has earned a dedicated fanbase through his amusing analysis of each episode of the show.
His Rose Rehash series has become incredibly popular, garnering thousands of views on YouTube, as he delves deep into discussions about The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise.
Since its launch in June 2021, I’ve had the privilege of growing Bilt Rewards to a valuation of $1.5 billion, as stated on my website.
The venture is ‘the first loyalty program that allows you to earn points on rent.’
Prior to establishing Bilt, Jain served as both the CEO and founder of Kairos, a hub specifically designed to foster and support budding entrepreneurs.
Through Kairos’s guidance, the company’s partner businesses collectively attained a total valuation exceeding $6.5 billion, tackling issues across various sectors such as housing and healthcare.
Before stepping into his role at Kairos in May 2017, Jain was Tinder’s Chief Product Officer.
He joined Tinder following their acquisition of his previous venture, Humin, a position he held as its Founder and CEO.
2024 marks the renewal of The Bachelor by ABC for its twenty-ninth season, with the main cast member still unconfirmed at this time.
