Colin From Accounts finally confirms season 2 BBC release date in UK

As a die-hard fan who has been eagerly waiting for Colin from Accounts season 2 since its Australian premiere, I can hardly contain my excitement! The thought of another eight episodes of Colin’s hilarious misadventures is like a breath of fresh air to me.

The much-anticipated UK debut date for season 2 of “Colin from Accounts” has officially been set, with viewers not having to endure a lengthy wait to catch it again on BBC.

Following its debut in Australia earlier this May, the second season of the Australian comedy has now been confirmed to premiere on BBC Two starting from Tuesday, September 3rd.

Starting this very day, similar to last season, the entire second season will be accessible as a boxset on BBC iPlayer. Each episode runs approximately 30 minutes, and with eight episodes available, you can effortlessly watch them all in one go should you wish.

To tickle your curiosity, BBC has unveiled a fresh trailer as well. It’s quite brief, yet it offers glimpses of Colin and the dog in adorable poses, a quick peek at the humorously awkward ‘meeting the parents’ scene, and an underwhelmed “yes” from Ashley when Gordon inquires about their situation. The atmosphere is so tense you could slice it with a boomerang.

In a statement prior to the Australian release of Season 2, the creators, main actors, and real-life couple Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer expressed their hopes: “Given that Season 1 surpassed our expectations, let’s hope we don’t botch this one.”

“It’s fantastic to resume portraying Ashley and Gordon causing mischief in the bustling streets of Sydney again. However, it pains us to have left our real pet behind in America. It feels somewhat out of character for the series, yet here we find ourselves.”

Rest assured, American viewers, there’s not much longer to hold out! The show will be back on the streaming platform Paramount+ starting September 26th.
