As a seasoned reality TV veteran myself, I must say I find the current buzz surrounding I’m A Celebrity… very intriguing! The fact that both Coleen and Rebekah, two formidable women from the world of football wives, are set to appear on this year’s show is nothing short of a spectacle.

Coleen Rooney’s I’m A Celeb appearance, for which she was reportedly paid a whopping a £1.5M, could also mean a bumper payday for Rebekah Vardy.

In 2022, the WAGs found themselves embroiled in the well-known Wagatha Christie trial. It was then that Coleen emerged victorious in a libel lawsuit against Rebekah, whom she believed had divulged private information about her to the media.

Rebekah, who had been instructed to cover her rival’s costs of over £800,000 in legal fees, quickly registered the term “Wagatha Christie” as a trademark. As reported by The Mirror, she can now potentially receive payment whenever this phrase is utilized on ITV.

On the latest edition of Radio 1, Dean McCullough quickly mentioned the well-known trial and referred to Coleen Wagatha Christie soon after his arrival in Australia during the show on Sunday.

A source revealed to the outlet: ‘It’s quite amusing how Rebekah might benefit financially from Coleen’s participation, considering all that has transpired.’

The trademark of her Wagatha Christie is particularly for television broadcasts. It’s expected that the term will appear frequently in the series, as well as promotional materials. There’s no doubt that some ingenious Bushmaster challenges themed around this topic will be part of the show.

Prior to using it, it’s worth noting that while people can choose not to use it at all, supervisors might find it entertaining to incorporate it into their work environment.

TopMob have contacted Rebekah’s reps and ITV for comment.

Hosts Ant and Dec jokingly commented during the show’s start, saying, “It’s refreshing for Colleen to experience a trial that isn’t connected to Rebekah Vardy.

Later on, Ant reassured everyone: “You can expect many more [jokes like these]!” as spectators flooded social media, labeling them both as ‘legendary figures’.

Initially, they stuck to their promises and later, as the campmates were becoming acquainted and exploring each other’s personal backgrounds, they disclosed: ‘Let me share with you the story of… Coleen Rooney,’ – a reference to her well-known social media post where she implicated Rebekah for disseminating ‘untrue stories’ about her personal life to the press.

Rebekah pitched her recent series concept to ITV, hoping they’d help make it happen, as she wants to face off against her competitor.

In 2017, the WAG, aged 42, journeyed to Australia on her own. She’s open to braving the native wildlife once more and making an unexpected entrance if it leads to executing her “revenge plan” against her rival.

In a playful hint towards a potential reunion, Rebekah shared with The Sun, “If viewers are eager for us to connect beforehand, then ITV should invite me into the jungle as a special guest. What exactly are they afraid of? A little confrontation? Isn’t that what the show is all about? It’s about ratings.

In response to Coleen, she stated: “Coleen’s lawyers seemed to downplay my background in reality TV, even making fun of it. Now that Coleen is participating in a jungle survival show herself, isn’t it the epitome of hypocrisy?

‘I think there was always a plan for reinvention. She stayed out of the public eye for so long.’

Rebekah acknowledged that she’ll tune in to see Coleen on the program. However, she thinks that Coleen might have a strategic approach, given her description of her as ‘rather calculating’.

It’s thought that Rebekah’s legal team will stay vigilant, poised to respond swiftly if her main adversary makes any disparaging remarks about her during live broadcasts.

On Friday, it was revealed that Rebekah had become a columnist for The Sun regarding I’m A Celebrity. In a playful manner, she expressed her hope that Coleen would either be compelled to eat an unusual food item or swallow humility while in the I’m A Celebrity jungle.

In an angry outburst, Rebekah expressed her anticipation for watching Coleen eat some unusual jungle food.

In past seasons of this tough contest, big-name celebrities have had to consume unusual items such as kangaroo testes, camel hump meat, insect larvae, and rodent tails.

When asked about what specific thing she’d like to see Colleen consume, she replied humorously, suggesting either “a hot dog” or “some humility pie.

When questioned about whether a camel’s testicle was the most unpleasant thing Coleen Rooney’s husband Wayne might have experienced orally, Rebekah responded by saying, “I’m not sure. For that question, you should ask his opinion.
