Coleen Rooney treats her family to a ‘magical’ day out at LaplandUK after spending ‘tens of thousands of pounds’ on Christmas lights for £20million Cheshire mansion

Coleen Rooney looked radiant as she treated her family to a ‘magical’ festive day out at LaplandUK.

The 39-year-old shared sweet photos on Instagram Monday from a fun day enjoying the season.

Coleen looked happy and radiant in the photos, posing with her family and friends inside a warm and inviting wooden cabin.

She was accompanied by her mother, Colette, and her sisters-in-law, Carley Smith and Amy Wilkinson, along with their kids.

Coleen captioned the photo: ‘Our favorite spot at this time of year… it feels like magic, and now it’s so close to home! @laplanduk’

‘Thank you for an amazing day.’

Reports surfaced that Coleen and Wayne Rooney spent a significant amount of money – tens of thousands of pounds – on Christmas lights for their £20 million Cheshire home.

The couple, including the former Manchester United player who is now 40, have lived in the mansion for three and a half years. The other half of the couple is known for appearing on ‘I’m A Celebrity’.

This large house is in the sought-after Golden Triangle, a prestigious area known for its expensive properties and famous residents, including footballers, celebrities, and musicians.

The expansive estate is now decorated for Christmas, and it looks like the owners hired professionals to put up beautiful, festive lights.

Photos of the house reveal Christmas lights strung along the roof and porch, with wreaths, trees, and hedges also decorated for the holidays.

People say the lights are incredibly bright, visible even to planes landing at Manchester Airport.

High Lake Manor, the Rooney family’s home, features luxurious amenities like a snooker room, home cinema, and underground spa. It also includes a wine cellar, stables for 14 horses, and even a full-sized football pitch.

Representatives for the Rooneys were approached for comment.

Coleen recently broke her foot when she tripped while wearing heels at Wayne’s birthday party and has been wearing a special boot to help it heal.

For Wayne’s 40th birthday, she treated him to a luxurious weekend getaway with his friends in the Cotswolds, which he wasn’t expecting.

Let me tell you, one night we had a costume party, and Wayne really went all out! He dressed as Freddie Mercury, complete with the look from the ‘I Want to Break Free’ video – yes, that meant heels and a leather skirt! It was a total showstopper.

Despite successfully learning to walk in the high platform shoes and playfully imitating Freddie Mercury’s dance moves with a vacuum cleaner before attempting karaoke, Coleen, known for her sense of style, ironically tripped and broke her foot while wearing her own heels.

On his podcast, The Wayne Rooney Show, he recently shared that it was a great time, and one night involved a fancy dress party.

I often played the role of Freddie Mercury, complete with his iconic style. That meant high heels, a black leather skirt, a tight T-shirt, and, surprisingly, a vacuum cleaner as part of the look!

I was vacuuming, and thankfully I was still on my feet! But Colleen wasn’t so lucky – she tripped and broke her foot while wearing heels.

But the claim didn’t hold up when Coleen shared an X-ray on X (formerly Twitter) showing her foot was clearly broken. This X-ray was taken in August 2022 after she had the boot removed.

Stepping out on Thursday, Coleen revealed she had finally ditched her orthopaedic boot.

She looked relaxed and comfortable leaving the Bank Medispa in Cheshire, wearing a tan jacket, a patterned green scarf, and blue jeans.

Coleen completed her outfit with dark brown flats, a black handbag, and a fashionable pair of sunglasses.

The celebrity, known from the show ‘I’m A Celebrity,’ was spotted driving away from the spa in her expensive Range Rover Sport, which cost around £114,829.

In March 2022, Coleen injured her foot at home and broke a bone near her little toe. She needed to wear a supportive boot, called an Aircast, for about six months to help it heal.

The shoe became well-known after Coleen Rooney wore it every day during the ‘Wagatha Christie’ court case against Rebekah Vardy in May 2022.

Rebekah reportedly suggested in an interview that Coleen might be exaggerating her leg injury to gain public sympathy during the legal proceedings.
