Coleen Rooney suffers major blow ahead of I’m A Celebrity appearance as the first stars touch down in Australia

Coleen Rooney suffers major blow ahead of I'm A Celebrity appearance as the first stars touch down in Australia

As someone who has followed the intricacies of celebrity lives for years, I must say that this news about Coleen Rooney joining “I’m A Celebrity” is nothing short of a spectacle. With her reputation as a private individual and her high-profile feud with Rebekah Vardy, it seems like she’s not just entering the Australian jungle; she’s stepping into a battlefield.

Coleen Rooney is facing a significant setback before the highly anticipated start of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

In the realm of television, I’ve heard whispers that my upcoming appearance on the reality show could potentially earn me a staggering one million pounds. If true, this would mark a significant milestone, as it would be the largest paycheck in the entire history of the ITV series.

It’s now clear that Coleen is not required to participate in specific trials because she has a valid medical reason for exemption.

Due to reactive arthritis, the wife of ex-England and Manchester United soccer player Wayne Rooney will not be able to participate in the rigorous trials.

And the news has drastically affected her odds at winning.

According to bookmakers Ladbrookes, although Coleen was once considered the likely winner with favorable odds, those odds have now significantly decreased to 10:1.

According to the most recent predictions, Maura Higgins has moved into a strong position with odds of 6 to 1, placing her alongside Danny Jones from McFly who stands at 5 to 2, as well as Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall who also has odds of 5 to 1.

The news arrives following Danny Jones, leader of McFly, being the initial celebrity to arrive at Brisbane Airport, marking the start of this year’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here event.

Last year’s “King of the Jungle,” 38-year-old Sam Thompson, along with previous contestant Joel Dommett, radio personality Kemi Rogers, and they are all hosting the spin-off series titled “I’m a Celebrity… Unpacked.

Danny departed from Heathrow, stopping briefly in Singapore, maintaining a relaxed and comfortable appearance throughout the 22-hour journey while wearing an Oasis T-shirt and carrying a guitar in his baggage.

A fierce storm loomed, potentially leading the aircraft transporting the first “I’m A Celebrity” contestants towards Sydney Airport off course.

However, among the show’s spin-off team consisting of Danny, Sam, Joel, and Kemi, they were among the few who safely landed in Brisbane at the scheduled time. All other flights had to deviate for an additional 1 hour and 35 minutes due to unspecified reasons.

In a turbulent journey, the plane had to hover above the runway momentarily before safely touching down. Danny informed TopMob, “The flight was quite stormy, a bit bumpy, and somewhat nerve-wracking.

Danny is taking a similar path as Dougie Poynter, who emerged victorious in the competition back in 2011.

When asked about participating in the show, TopMob Danny didn’t explicitly confirm, instead he made a joke about his plans for Australia: ‘I plan to record a solo album. I’ll also be surfing, working on an album, but my McFly bandmates are unaware of it yet.’

Coleen and Danny are reportedly set to appear on the upcoming season of the ITV reality show, joining other well-known names such as Maura Higgins and Oti Mabuse.

According to reports, Colleen has apparently established guidelines that Wayne should adhere to while she travels to Australia.

As reported by The Sun, the star expresses worry that, during her absence, Wayne might find himself in a tricky or challenging situation.

Previously, a footballer who played for England and currently manages Argyle Football Club, is often faced with tricky predicaments; as reported by a newspaper, Colleen appears to be acting cautiously about it.

People close to Coleen are fully informed about previous events and plan to keep in touch with Wayne while she’s out of town.

‘His football schedule means he can’t fly out to join her so he’ll be watching it from Plymouth.’

The family are doing everything they can to make sure that Coleen enjoys her time on the show without any interruptions or negativity.

It was mentioned that Wayne is thrilled about Coleen’s adventure in the jungle and intends to support her until the very end.

The news comes after it was revealed that it was Coleen who will be having an eye kept on her.

Rebekah Vardy will be losing sleep over Coleen’s appearance on I’m a Celebrity – and her Wagatha Christie case lawyers will be carefully watching what her rival says, experts told TopMob.

It’s speculated that Colleen will earn a minimum of £1.5 million for joining the popular ITV evening show, which is presented by Ant and Dec.

Next week, the show will start in Australia, and it’s been called Colleen’s “ultimate payback” against her competitor. This is because Rebekah was eliminated early during the 2017 season.

According to a source familiar with Leicester City WAG Rebekah, it appears her enthusiasm for the program has waned significantly, and it’s highly unlikely she will tune in anymore.

However, one source mentioned to TopMob that Rebekah is likely to be closely following ITV and all comments made by Coleen about her. Additionally, it’s been indicated that Vardy’s legal representatives are keeping a close eye on the situation as well.

According to brand and cultural specialist Nick Ede, there’s a strong possibility that Rebekah might initiate another legal action if Coleen mentions any statements that could potentially tarnish her reputation.

However, though Coleen is aware that ITV expects her to disclose more details about the Wagatha Christie case and their rivalry while in the jungle, it is likely that she has been cautiously advised by her legal team regarding what she can and cannot discuss prior to her entry, as per Mr. Ede’s statement.

‘100% Rebekah will not be happy that Coleen is going on the show’, he said.

She’ll closely monitor the screen, hoping to catch any pieces of information from Coleen that might accidentally discredit her.

‘If Colleen decides to venture into the jungle as Rebekah did, it would not only echo her actions but also potentially deepen any sense of offense or resentment.’

Given Colleen’s preference for privacy, the producers might expect her to disclose additional details about the Wagatha Christie case since she has agreed to participate in the jungle and appear on camera.

Mr. Ede mentioned that Coleen intends to express herself, however, he cautioned that she is a meticulous speaker and will likely rehearse her responses carefully in anticipation of any questions that the campmates might ask her.

‘She won’t want to face any more issues or court letters from Vardy’s camp’.
