Coleen Rooney Radiates Joy in Manchester After Winning Legal Battle Against Rebekah Vardy

On Thursday, Coleen Rooney appeared more joyful than ever before as she made her way out in Manchester, with the long-standing Wagatha Christie controversy now officially resolved.

39-year-old WAG beamed uncontainably as she made her way towards the Trafford Centre, bound for a private function at the unique fusion restaurant, Nichi.

She sported a stylish, classic look wearing high-rise denim jeans, paired with a vibrant red cardigan and a belt from Victoria Beckham’s UK collection.

On a given day, the mother of four enjoyed socializing with her friends over glasses of champagne during an upscale dining event.

After her high-profile libel case with Rebekah Vardy concluded, Coleen Rooney, the wife of footballer Wayne, has been making progress and carrying on with her daily life.

In the meantime, Rebekah is selling off her vintage designer swimsuits following a court ruling that demanded she pay Coleen £1.4M in legal costs.

In the sensational turn of events, the WAG consented to cover £1,190,000 of Colleen’s court expenses, along with an additional £212,266 for assessment fees, following their loss in the court case.

The minimum amount Remekah still owes now totals approximately £1,402,266.20, considering she had previously paid £800,000 four years back and an additional £100,000 the previous year.

It was discovered that the TV personality has been listing her clothing for sale on the resale website Vinted, having promoted the items on her Instagram story.

Rebekah was promoting an assortment of vibrant swimsuits, featuring high-end labels such as Luli Fama, ViX, and Good American.

On her page, there was a listing for a Luli Fama bikini, which typically sells for about £170; however, it was priced at just £50 – a significant discount from its original cost.

As a devoted enthusiast, I found myself observing that the trendy ViX bikinis, typically retailing at approximately £200, were being advertised for roughly the same prices.

As a devoted admirer bursting with enthusiasm, I couldn’t help but share my recent decluttering spree! Among the treasures from my own closet and the outgrown garments of my little ones, there are some fabulous finds up for grabs now.

In a statement issued earlier this month, Coleen pointed out that resources could have been more wisely invested instead, in a strongly worded message addressed to Rebekah.

Yesterday’s decision in my favor has now concluded the case, offering both my family and me a sense of relief and finality. It’s like putting the last piece in a puzzle, providing us with a much-needed sense of resolution.

‘Throughout this long process, I am grateful that the judgements have consistently gone my way.

On the contrary, as I’ve consistently argued, the point at hand didn’t necessarily require such extensive discussion or duration of time.

‘The time and money should have been put to better use.

I’d like to express my gratitude to my legal advisors, management team, friends, and family for the valuable advice and unwavering support they’ve provided me with.

‘Thanks also to the public and many well wishers who have been in touch with such kind messages.

Although this ordeal was never part of my desired journey, I’m grateful for how my family and team have handled it. We eagerly anticipate leaving this behind and resuming our lives anew.

According to court orders from 2024, Colleen is required to repay Rebekah a total of £135,097.50 as costs. This amount will be deducted from what Rebekah owes.

A trusted confidant of Rebekah shared with TopMob: “Rebekah feels immensely relieved as the protracted court case she has been dealing with is finally nearing its conclusion.

‘She’s looking forward to putting the whole ordeal well and truly behind her.

Right now, she’s primarily thinking about what lies ahead. Exciting projects are on the horizon that she can’t wait to dive into headfirst.

In the year 2022, Colleen accumulated over £1.8 million in legal fees during her successful self-defense in a High Court case brought forward by Rebekah.

Following our unsuccessful High Court battle, I was instructed by the court to cover 90% of Coleen’s legal expenses.

Or alternatively,

In the wake of our High Court defeat, I was mandated to reimburse 90% of Coleen’s legal fees.
