As I delve deeper into this captivating narrative, I find myself deeply moved by the resilience and fortitude displayed by these women. Coleen Rooney, a woman who has faced her share of trials and tribulations, stands before us as an epitome of strength. Her journey through the infamous ‘Wagatha Christie’ trial serves as a testament to her unwavering spirit and determination.

Coleen Rooney wept as she shared about the passing of her younger sister, Rosie, on Monday’s episode of “I’m A Celebrity.

38-year-old WAG (Wives and Girlfriends of Athletes) opened up to her fellow contestants about Rosie, who sadly passed away in 2013 at the age of 14. She had been fighting a long-term battle with Rett syndrome, a relatively uncommon brain condition that leads to severe impairments.

The heartfelt discussion started when Barry McGuigan, Coleen’s fellow participant and a boxer, choked up while talking about his daughter Danika, who tragically passed away from cancer in 2019 at the age of 33.

Later on, Coleen shared with Dean and Oti that she had managed to stay composed even after the death of Rosie, primarily for her parents.

Speaking about it, her passing anniversary is approaching in January. That was fourteen years ago, which would make her twenty-six today. Losing a child has always been something I’ve found incredibly difficult… yet, we’re fortunate for the time we’ve shared with her.

While speaking at camp, Barry shared this: “[Danika] was battling leukemia during the time I was filming with Daniel Day Lewis. Three weeks before wrapping up, I had to leave because she’d been diagnosed. Doctors didn’t think she’d recover, but she proved them wrong and beat it. She underwent two years of chemotherapy.

As he started chatting, friends gathered around, greeting Danny Jones and Tulisa. Meanwhile, Barry expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you, each of you are wonderful, I truly value your kindness.

I will share with Jane Moore from Loose Women that Danika experienced abdominal discomfort while filming her movie, but she delayed seeking medical attention and eventually visited a doctor. Upon our gathering, she informed us that it was stage 4 bowel cancer, and she lived for just five weeks before passing away.

Last year, on the eleventh anniversary of your passing, Coleen posted a tribute on Instagram saying, “It’s been 11 years, but we continue to cherish and yearn for you, dear Rosie Mc.

In their foster family, the McLoughlins started taking care of Rosie at age two. Before this, they only offered temporary care. However, as Colleen pointed out in her Wagatha Christie documentary on Disney+, she observed that “Rosie was unique” compared to others.

She shared: “Rosie significantly joined our family. To me, she felt like the sister I’d never expected to have.

Addressing both her parents affectionately as “mum” and “Tony”, she went on saying: ‘In the past, I’d style her hair and we’d have fun picking outfits together. She always added a special touch to our home. It was her charm that won us over.’

However, it became apparent to the family that Rosie was facing challenges with her growth and development. Following a sequence of medical examinations at the hospital, she was eventually diagnosed with Rett Syndrome.

Colleen shared: “Rosie had difficulty; she was unable to walk or speak, and felt both painful and unwell. Yet, she managed to wear a smile.

‘Sometimes she used to force a laugh out. I think it was just to make my mum and dad happy.

‘Gradually her brain wasn’t functioning so she couldn’t eat anymore, couldn’t talk, move.’

Due to requiring round-the-clock attention, and following numerous health issues that landed her in intensive care, Collette disclosed that the family opted to bring Rosie home for her remaining days, allowing her to be amidst her cherished ones.

She shared that we spent our final overnight gathering as a group, and afterwards, we threw a grand celebration in honor of her life.

Overwhelmed with sorrow, Coleen expressed, “Losing a child is the most devastating experience one could endure, yet in retrospect, she filled our lives with countless years of joy and affection.

Barry’s daughter Danika McGuigan, the actress, sadly bid farewell, encompassed by her grief-stricken loved ones.

In the realm of cinema, she appeared in movies such as Philomena, Mammal, and Wildlife. Professionally, she was recognized under the name Nika McGuigan.

In my professional perspective, as a lifestyle advisor, I’d say: Despite triumphing over leukemia as a child after a fierce two-year struggle, she couldn’t prevail against cancer in adulthood – a heartbreaking turn of events.

Danika was Barry’s lone daughter, joined by her three siblings Shane, Jake, and Blane. Notably, Shane McGuigan has carried on the family legacy, emerging as one of the top trainers in boxing.

Her mother, Sandra, has been married to her father Barry for more than thirty years.

On tonight’s edition of my favorite show, I’m A Celebrity…, I found myself engrossed as Coleen bravely shared insights into her high-profile Wagatha Christie court case with her fellow camp members for the very first time.

Despite rival WAG Rebekah Vardy ‘vowing to call in the lawyers’ if Coleen mentions the Wagatha Christie case in the jungle, she was more than happy to chat about the ‘nightmare’ trial.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly didn’t hesitate to make light of her recent legal issues with Rebekah, hinting playfully during the opening show on Sunday that there would likely be many more such instances.

Colleen emphasized that the trial was not something she found amusing, sharing this sentiment with fellow campmates GK Barry, Jane Moore, and Dean McCullough.

The high-profile £1.8 million legal dispute between Coleen and Rebekah, popularly known as “The Wagatha Christie Case,” concluded in the year 2022.

Rebekah strongly contested the accusations and took Coleen to court over slander, but the highly publicized trial, known as the ‘Wagatha Christie’ case, ruled in favor of Coleen. As a result, Rebekah was ordered to pay £1.5 million towards Coleen’s legal expenses.

While they all gathered near the creek, sharing stories and becoming acquainted, Dean couldn’t resist revisiting the notorious case once more.

He said: ‘Can you imagine if Princess Diana would have done a Wagatha Christie!’

Jane told Coleen: ‘That was epic though what you did!’

In response to GK’s question about feeling fearful over her accusatory post against Rebekah, Coleen firmly stated that she did not feel afraid.

To be honest, I never anticipated the magnitude of its influence, for I had grown weary and exhausted by it all. It seemed to drain every ounce of energy within me.

It was my greatest fear to have to appear in court. It seemed as if I were performing before an audience of the entire world.

Colleen expressed: “What struck me most about the entire situation was its transformation into a jest, which I found truly disheartening because it wasn’t a laughing matter to me.

On Monday night, Ant and Dec continued their humor about the Wagatha Christie case without pause, persistently teasing Rebekah Vardy.

The Geordie duo poked fun at Coleen’s ‘It’s… Rebekah Vardy’ post as they opened the show.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share my excitement over Colleen’s recent discussion on what seems to be the Trial of the Century. She’s not just talking about it; she’s strategically positioning herself to recoup her legal expenses from Rebekah Vardy. It’s a thrilling turn of events, and I can hardly contain my enthusiasm!

Ant mentioned, “Ah, just so you know, that funds directly deposited into… Coleen Rooney’s banking account.

In conversation with X, supporters commented: “If I got a dollar every time Ant and Dec mention Rebekah Vardy, I’d be earning as much as Colleen Rooney’s salary from this show! #ImACeleb
