Cody Ko releases first statement following Tana Mongeau allegations
As a long-time fan of Cody Ko and his Tiny Meat Gang Podcast, I have to admit that I was disappointed with the recent turn of events regarding the allegations against him and his involvement with Tana Mongeau when she was underage. It’s disheartening to see someone I looked up to potentially make such a mistake, especially given the seriousness of the situation.
Cody Ko has officially made his first statement following the Tana Mongeau allegations.
1. After the Tana Mongeau accusations, Cody Ko has shared a semi-statement via the internet, jointly signed with his TMG Studios partner, Noel Miller. This statement was recently published online.
1. Although the statement tackled the allegations, it swiftly brushed past the matter by announcing that Ko will temporarily step back from managing TMG Studios’ daily affairs.
Cody Ko steps away from TMG Studios in statement following Tana Mongeau allegations
Recently, there have been reports suggesting that Cody Ko engaged in a sexual relationship with Tana Mongeau, another well-known creator, when she was just 17 years old. At that time, Ko was 25 and the incident occurred in Florida, where the legal age of consent is 18.

After the announcement was made online, Ko remained silent and failed to address fans with a statement. However, not long ago, TMG Studios put out an official communique, which bore signatures from both Ko and Miller. Yet, it is uncertain to what extent Ko contributed to drafting this declaration.
TMG Studios’ statement addressing the allegations
Recently, I, as a devoted follower of TMG Studios, received an exciting piece of news through their newsletter. It announced that the talented Cody Ko would be temporarily stepping away from his daily responsibilities.
In the upcoming stage of TMG Studios, it’s important to share that Cody won’t be managing the daily activities. This decision stems from a private matter he’s been dealing with recently. He wishes to keep this personal issue separate from your professional and personal spheres at the studio, as well as the outstanding work you and our other hosts have done in making TMG Studios thrive.

The email doesn’t clearly show Ko accepting responsibility for his previous actions. It’s possible that Miller authored the entire message.
The Tiny Meat Gang Podcast by Miller and Ko is set to continue production, with Miller taking over as the host in place of Ko.

Whether or not Ko will make a personal statement is yet to be known.
