CODM celebrates 50 seasons of Call of Duty
As a gamer with over two decades of gaming experience under my belt, I must say that Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) has been a constant companion in my mobile gaming journey for the last five years. With its 50th season, it’s hard not to feel nostalgic and amazed at how far this game has come.
Call of Duty: Mobile is celebrating its 50th season.
As a die-hard gamer, I’m pumped to share that the legendary Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) is commemorating an epic milestone – 50 seasons! Over the last five years, this game has been a part of my gaming journey, offering unforgettable memories, iconic maps, and countless hours of fun. In my opinion, it’s already secured its place as one of the all-time greatest mobile games ever created.
CODM reaches its 50th season, spanning over 5 years
On August 28, 2024, I was thrilled to witness a special anniversary video from my beloved game uploaded on their YouTube channel. It offered a captivating sneak peek into the incredible journey the game has embarked on during the past five years.
From hoards of zombies to intense multiplayer, CODM still stands the test of time when it comes to Mobile gaming. The best part is the game is constantly getting updated with all of its new seasons.
Different from most Call of Duty titles, there isn’t a brand new CODM released annually. Instead of forking out around $80 each fall, players can avoid that expense and focus more on managing the potential impact of in-game micro-transactions.
Will other games follow suit when it comes to creating a mobile experience?
How many games have mobile versions?
Many popular shooter games offer mobile adaptations, yet not all of them have produced standalone mobile titles distinct from their original versions. For instance, while Fortnite has a mobile app, it shares the same Battle Royale experience as its standard version.
In a fresh twist, CODM (Call of Duty: Mobile) has established an exclusive gaming universe for mobile enthusiasts, enabling it to organize its own tournaments and other events. Similarly, PUBG: Mobile operates independently, maintaining a distinct player base apart from its PC/console counterparts.
The question arises regarding the expansion of mobile gaming, particularly in games like CODM. However, given that most serious gamers tend to play on PCs or consoles, it’s worth pondering if mobile games can endure this trend. Will they persist and possibly thrive, or might they eventually fade away?
