The World Championship 2025 will introduce a division system
For the very first time in the competitive landscape of Call of Duty: Mobile, they will introduce a system that divides players based on their individual rankings. This new division system will consist of two sections: the premier league for Legendary and Grandmaster ranked players, which we’ll refer to as “Legendary“, and the rest of the ranks, collectively known as “Open“.
This is a great move since it provides an opportunity for less experienced players to challenge themselves on a top-tier platform, by facing opponents of comparable abilities. However, the competition will conclude at Stage 3. In the Open Division Stage 3, participants can vie for Cash Prizes and FaceIt points, with possibilities for future Open level tournaments in sight.
Conversely, the Legendary Division stays consistent, serving as a route to the World Championship Finals. Competitors are vying for a piece of the $1,000,000 reward pool.
COD Mobile World Championship 2025: The same qualification process as before
The initial phase for the championship series commences as Stage 1: Independent Qualifier, which gets underway on the 25th of April, 2025. During this stage, each competitor will engage in ranked multiplayer matches to accumulate tournament points. To progress further, a target score of 50 points is needed, leading to the Open Team Qualifier: Team Play.
In the second phase, players who qualified for the Open Team Qualifier can either form or join teams consisting of 5 or 6 members. This event kicks off on the 4th of June. Teams will compete in up to 30 ranked matches, with each victory earning points based on a team’s average player rank. The top 64 teams from each region move on to Stage 3 of the World Championship 2025.

Moving forward, this upcoming phase is vital for all COD Mobile Esports teams aiming to reach the peak of competition. Mark your calendars; it commences on the 6th of July. Only 16 teams per region will remain standing in this phase.
In this rephrased version, I’ve aimed to maintain the original meaning while making it more conversational and engaging for readers.
Moving forward, we’ll enter Phase 4, commencing on July 26th. Only the top two contestants from each region will earn their spots in the Stage 4 Finals. During this phase, both upper and lower brackets will employ a double-elimination system, with each match being best of five encounters. This stage is crucial as it will decide which teams will compete in the final showdown.
A new region joins in, uplifting the competition by more
To make it to the World Finals, you’ll need to excel in the regional qualifiers. The COD Mobile esports scene is divided into five regions: North America, Latin America, Europe, India, Japan, and this year, Africa has been added as an additional region. However, teams from China and Southeast Asia will earn their spots through dedicated regional qualifiers.

To participate in the Championship, simply navigate to the registration page either from the main game interface or via Multiplayer and Ranked Play lobbies. Once registered, you’ll embark on your journey towards qualifying for the Open Solo Qualifier. However, it’s important to note that eligibility requirements include being at least 18 years old, having a player level of 10 or above, and residing in an eligible region.
Apart from the gameplay, it too addressed the questions posed by eager participants, who were anticipating joining the contest. You can discover the FAQ for the Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2025 on the game’s main site.
