Call of Duty Mobile is setting sail into deeper waters with Season 7, titled Phantom Current, due to launch on July 30, 2025 at 5 PM Pacific Time. This nautical-themed update brings a fresh addition – the RC-XD Car Racing mode, a reappearance of Gulag in Battle Royale, and a new Mythic Operator. Here’s an overview of what to expect.

RC-XD Car Racing in Multiplayer

In the fresh multiplayer setting called “Mini Mayhem,” you’ll find yourself driving RC-XD vehicles through miniature races spanning different tracks. This gameplay option is designed for either single player experience or intense competition among up to eight participants, all vying for the checkered flag!

Competitors swiftly race on multiple-round tracks, maneuvering around obstacles and steering clear of dangerous areas. A fall into a hazardous zone instantly causes your car to blow up, promptly returning you to the closest checkpoint. Progress up the rankings by winning races and gaining access to unique vehicle designs.

Gulag in Battle Royale

For the very first time in COD Mobile, the notorious Gulag will be available as a temporary event on the Isolated map. Upon getting knocked out, players will find themselves in a solitary 1v1 arena.

In this battle, if they emerge victorious, they can rejoin the fight right away. Conversely, if they lose, they’ll need to wait for their teammates to revive them through the Buy Station. Each player gets a single free chance in the Gulag during each match, and you can buy extra chances using Gulag Tickets.

New Wildcard: Skill Overdrive

Premium Pass Tiers

This Premium Battle Pass showcases ocean-themed characters, such as Farah in Stealth mode, Kreuger as Deep Six, Ethan with the AQUA-44 designation, and Stone as Painkiller. The weapon lineup for this blueprint includes guns like the Angler version of KN-44, the QQ9 with the Odyssey 09 upgrade, the Peacekeeper MK2 transformed into Technautilus, the XPR-50 as Hydrofoil, and the MG 82 reimagined as Dreadnought.

Subscribers of Ground Forces can expect to receive the “Zane – Monsoon Season” skin, the “SKS – Carrier Strike” blueprint, and the “Carrier Strike Backpack”, in addition to bonus experience points and special discounts.

Challenge Pass

The Challenge Pass is back, offering three types of missions: Standard, Special, and Elite. Finishing these tasks rewards you with Challenge Tokens. These tokens can be spent to unlock summer-themed prizes like the Soap – Toxic Splash, the Tak-5 – Propeller modification, and the Jet Skies camouflage collection.

Secret Caches

This season, a remarkable weapon known as the “RUS-79U – Enchanted Lantern” is up for grabs via the “Secret Stash” system. To earn this prize, engage with various stashes scattered across multiple game modes. As you advance through milestones, you’ll also unlock additional items as bonuses on your journey.

Girls’ Frontline Collaboration

Through a special collaboration, the game Girls’ Frontline introduces themed content via events and items in its in-game store. You can accomplish tasks in both multiplayer and battle royale modes to earn rewards. The event offers login tasks and challenges tailored for each mission, along with cosmetic items featuring characters and weapons from Girls’ Frontline.

Dark Shepherd Mythic Draw

The “Grim Guardian – Specter” Legendary Operator is spearheading the latest release. Girls’ Frontline Store Content

Besides the previously mentioned content, Girls’ Frontline can also be found in a Lucky Draw, a Bundle, and a Strongbox. The Lucky Draw features Scylla – ASM10 and a corresponding Legendary blueprint for ASM10 – Girls’ Frontline. The Bundle comes with an additional Legendary weapon, while the Strongbox provides a selection of themed cosmetics.

Double CP Event, Battle Pass Vault, and Additional Draws

In Season 7, there’s a special event called the Double CP Event, which doubles the value of purchased CP for a limited period. This extra benefit is applicable both within the game and on the Web Store in certain regions. Additionally, two previously available Battle Passes, Zombies Are Back from Season 9 and Ultimate Frontier from Season 11, have been moved back to the vault.

As a gamer, I’ve got some exciting news! This season, there are three extra Lucky Draws up for grabs. The Bloody Seas Draw is packed with the cool Nyx skin and the USS 9 – Spectral Seas weapon. If you prefer the Fathomless Draw, you’ll find the Bathysphere Operator and JAK-12 – Briny Deep there. Lastly, the Broken Tides Draw comes with the Lustre Operator and Grau 5.56 – Immense Tides.
