Players can look forward to themed events featuring Pop Team Epic and the popular NieR: Automata crossover, which previously appeared in Season 5 of 2025. Plus, with a fresh Battle Pass, Challenge Pass, and regular updates to the in-game store, there’s tons of new content to discover all season long.
COD Mobile Season 3 2026 Paranoia: Key Highlights and Seasonal Events
New Mode: DMZ: Recon Quick Play
So, DMZ: Recon got a cool update this season – Quick Play. Basically, it’s for those of us who want a faster, more action-packed experience. You still get the whole DMZ loop – grabbing loot, fighting it out, and trying to get out with your stuff – but in shorter matches. It’s perfect when I don’t have a ton of time but still want to jump in and play.
This new mode takes place in a smaller area of Serpent Island, specifically its northern region. You’ll be fighting around familiar locations like Kurohana Base, the Observatory, the Kurohana Ship, Port, and the Residential area.
With only four teams dropping into each match, you’ll find more intense fights and a faster pace than usual. The escape ship’s pickup zone is now located outside, making the fight for extraction even more stressful as teams compete for control.
Pop Team Epic Event
Call of Duty: Mobile is teaming up with the uniquely funny anime Pop Team Epic in a special event! Players can earn puzzle pieces by playing the game, and use those pieces to unlock challenges. Solving these challenges will reveal short, four-panel comics from the Pop Team Epic series.
As a huge fan, I’m so excited to hear that if I collect all the panels, I’ll get a ton of awesome themed rewards! We’re talking cool weapon skins, a blueprint for a Pop Team Epic weapon – seriously?! – plus an emote, charms, sprays, and a bunch of other cosmetic goodies to really show off my dedication. It’s going to look amazing!
Spring Invasion
Spring Invasion is an event with an alien theme where players earn rewards just by playing the game and finishing missions. During the event, you can unlock cool cosmetic items like the Crash — Spring Breaker and Crash — Spring Fling Operator Skins.
Players can also earn special items like unique profile pictures, calling cards, and cosmetic items that change with the spring season.
Returning Event NieR: Automata
The popular NieR: Automata event is back, with some changes! Players take control of the YoRHa unit and experience a mission with multiple paths. You’ll navigate a map, gather skill chips, and open up new routes by finishing goals.
As you advance in the event, you’ll earn rewards including the Kui Ji — YoRHa No. 9 Type S Operator Skin, the plans for the EMR 2 — Atonement of the Ancients, and a variety of melee weapons inspired by NieR.
Throughout the season, special events will give players rewards like the blueprint for the QXR — Lethal Carapace and the Ruin — Coleoptera Operator Skin.
COD Mobile Season 3 2026: Battle Pass and Challenge Pass
Season 3’s new Battle Pass features a sci-fi and cosmic horror theme, offering players fresh characters, weapon designs, cosmetic items, and Call of Duty Points.
Battle Pass Free Tiers
The new MX Guardian shotgun is now available in the free tiers of the game. This fully automatic 12-gauge weapon has a large magazine and is very effective in close-quarters fights. A new Battle Royale class, the Tactical Mirror, is also being added with the Battle Pass.
This special skill lets players create copies of powerful weapons and ammo for their team using a mirror device. As players advance through the free rewards, they’ll also get new weapon skins, designs, and cosmetic items.
Premium Pass Tiers
With Premium Pass, you’ll unlock special Operator Skins like Jackal – The Teeth, Keegan – The Eyes, Polina – Battle Prepped, and Misty – Campfire Camo.
The collection also features designs for several advanced weapons, including the OTs 9 — Incubation, M13 — Chromatic Hivemind, USS 9 — Eldritch Geode, and MX Guardian — Active Containment.
Players who subscribe to Ground Forces get extra perks: the Enforcer Operator Skin, a Deep Trouble blueprint for the M1 Garand rifle, and the Deep Trouble backpack.
Challenge Pass
Okay, so the Season 3 Challenge Pass is back, and it’s got the usual missions – Standard, Special, and Elite. Completing these gets you tokens, which is awesome because you can trade them for cool seasonal stuff. This time around, I’m especially hyped for the ICR — Perilous Mosaic blueprint and this sweet Modern Warfare-themed reskin for the Emergency Airdrop Scorestreak. Definitely gonna grind those missions!
Store Update: Cosmic Draws, Pop Team Epic, and NieR: Automata
Season 3 brings new Lucky Draws with a spooky, sci-fi vibe. The Critical Parasite Draw lets you win the American Bulldog — Ectoparasite Operator Skin, and you can also get the rare MX Guardian — Critical Emergence blueprint.
The Symbiosis Draw includes Reyes – Scarred Scion along with the blueprint for the MG82 – Cold Emergence. The Specimen Draw features Siren – Pestilential and the Swordfish – Creeping Aberration blueprint.
The Flatline Draw completes the collection with the Scylla—Heartbreaker Operator Skin and the CX9—Vital Circuit blueprint. Plus, a special collaboration with Pop Team Epic introduces a themed Strongbox packed with cosmetic items like weapon blueprints, emotes, charms, and vehicle skins.
The popular NieR: Automata collaboration is back! Players can participate in two special Lucky Draws to win characters like Kestrel (YoRHa No. 2 Type B) and Fiona St. George (Commander White), plus a variety of themed weapons and melee weapon skins.
This season, two previous Battle Passes are being added to the Vault: Spurned & Burned, with its Wild West characters, and Vintage Vigilance, a noir-style pass full of detective-themed items.
