The latest edition of COD Mobile is upon us, introducing the third season of 2025, titled “Cyber Mirage.” Set to debut on March 26, 2025, this installment introduces a novel Wildcard system that applies to both Multiplayer and Battle Royale. In addition, as always, we can expect some exciting updates which I will elaborate on here.
Wildcards arrive in Multiplayer and Battle Royale modes
This season brings about a significant shift in gameplay with the arrival of Wildcards, a tool enabling you to adjust your loadout setup in both Multiplayer and Battle Royale modes. If you’ve dabbled in Black Ops games previously, you’ll appreciate how the Wildcard feature alters the way loadouts operate.
Both Multiplayer and Battle Royale modes will have this feature.
Wildcards in Multiplayer
This version retains the original meaning but aims to make it more accessible and engaging for readers.

Wildcards in Battle Royale
In Battle Royale, the role of Wildcards is slightly distinct. Initially, you start the game by selecting from various predetermined Loadouts, each associated with a Wildcard. Additionally, these Wildcards can be found as loot throughout the game, allowing you to carry up to three at once. Here’s a brief description of some of them:
This way, it’s easier to understand that you have multiple options for selecting your starting gear based on Wildcards, and you can also find and equip more during the game.

| Covert Action | Move quieter when not sprinting. |
| Medical Kit | Heal when repairing armor. |

| Military Recycling | Chance to not use ammo when throwing grenades or firing launchers. |
| Quick Recover | Heal faster and reduce cooldown for HP recovery. |
Wildcards serve as a good way to push your Operator performance.

COD Mobile Season 3 2025: Battle Pass and Challenge Pass
The Season 3 Battle Pass brings a mix of free and premium rewards.
Battle Pass Free Tiers
If you stay on the gratis path, you’ll acquire the M1 Garand Marksman Rifle at Tier 21. This is a semi-automatic rifle known for its exceptional accuracy and potent stopping power. Alongside it, you’ll also get other freebies such as the Molotov Cocktail – Liquid Flame, plus several Weapon Design Blueprints.
Premium Pass Tiers
By purchasing the Premium Battle Pass, you’ll unlock exclusive Operator skins such as “Soap – Bulletproof Monk”, “David Mason – Alloy”, “Rampage – Chromite”, and “Mistress of Death – Blight”. Additionally, the higher tiers of the Premium version offer advanced Weapon Blueprints, including the “Kilo 141 – Counter Subversion”, “DL Q33 – Corporate Aegis”, and the “M1 Garand – Corroded Core”.
The Premium Battle Pass grants access to unique Operator skins including “Soap – Bulletproof Monk”, “David Mason – Alloy”, “Rampage – Chromite”, and “Mistress of Death – Blight”. Moreover, it provides futuristic Weapon Blueprints like the “Kilo 141 – Counter Subversion”, “DL Q33 – Corporate Aegis”, and the “M1 Garand – Corroded Core” in its higher tiers.
Challenge Pass
Additionally to the Battle Pass, Season 3 also offers the Challenge Pass with its unique rewards and tasks. The standout feature here is the R.A.P.S. Scorestreak – a collection of autonomous drones that detect and eliminate opponents for you. As you complete Standard, Special, and Elite Missions, you’ll earn Challenge Tokens.
New Themed Events: Ling Cage and Easter
This current period showcases two special, time-bound festivities. If you’re a lover of collaborative events, there are numerous themed mementos up for grabs here.
This collaboration between Ling Cage involves material drawn from the widely recognized Ling Cage series, such as the Kilo 141 – Baiyuekui Weapon Blueprint, distinctive character skins for operators, and unique tasks only available during events.
As a gamer, here’s how I would put it: During the upcoming Easter festivities, you’ll be on an egg hunt across various game modes, gathering and adorning eggs left and right! Completing these Easter challenges will grant you the blueprint for the unique PPSh-41 – Dead Man’s Custom weapon, along with other adorable Easter-themed cosmetics to dress up your gaming avatar.
New Store Content and Mythic Weapon Release
This in-game shop undergoes a major update, introducing fresh draws, skins, and packages. The standout item this season is the Mythic LW3-Tundra Sniper Rifle, showcasing a sleek, futuristic design along with unique auditory and visual enhancements.
Among other enhancements, you’ll find the PDW-57 – Wasteland’s Edge and the Antonov – Badlands Crusader Operator Skin, which align perfectly with the post-apocalyptic motif. Additionally, the Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.) Stealth Pack makes a comeback, allowing you to assist military veterans and collect unique in-game prizes at the same time.
Battle Pass Vault
Should you have missed out on the rewards from the Battle Pass during Season 11 – Final Snow, the Battle Pass Archive gives another opportunity to obtain Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, and other cosmetic items that were previously available. This archive continues to grow, making it an excellent method to stay current with older content you might have missed out on.
New Multiplayer Improvements
In addition to the new features introduced in Season 3, a revamped communication system called the Ping System is now available within the Multiplayer mode. This innovative feature allows players to quickly signal their teammates about enemy locations, objectives, or crucial spots on the map.
To make it easier to identify adversaries during intense battles, they now sport a distinct red border. Additionally, new visual settings have been implemented, providing you with greater flexibility in managing the visual aspects as well as performance optimizations.
