Coco Austin, 46, showed off her fit physique in a bikini while enjoying a vacation in the Bahamas this week.

She wore a stylish snakeskin-patterned suit with straps, highlighting her fit physique and winter tan.

The influencer shared that she’s turning 47 next week on St. Patrick’s Day and that her main focus is on staying healthy and making sure her family is happy.

The celebrity was vacationing with her daughter, Chanel, at the Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, Bahamas, enjoying some relaxation.

Last week the 46-year-ld reality TV star and the nine-year-old child were posing side by side. 

Ice-T’s wife shared that she and her daughter, Chanel, love to coordinate their outfits. She explained they’ve been playfully matching clothes on vacations and trips since Chanel was just six months old, and they don’t plan to stop the tradition anytime soon!

Austin and Chanel were both barefoot as they walked around the resort. Austin had on black sunglasses and her hair was styled in braided pigtails, mirroring Chanel’s hairstyle.

Okay, so I just had to share this – Last she Austin explained why she continued breastfeeding her daughter, Chanel, all the way until she was six! It’s such a personal thing, but I’m completely fascinated by her dedication and the bond they clearly have. It’s just… amazing, honestly.

Chanel has often been seen being breastfed by her mother in images shared to Instagram.

The model explained on the Dumb Blonde podcast that she wasn’t motivated by nutrition alone, but by wanting to share a special ‘bonding experience’ with her child.

‘It wasn’t like I was feeding her because she needed a meal,’ the social media pinup said on the show. ‘She was able to eat by a year, full solids… It was more that she wanted to be around me.’

The model claimed that in Europe, it’s common for mothers to breastfeed their children for up to seven years, and it’s generally accepted as a natural part of parenting.

The celebrity, often seen on red carpets, said it took a surprisingly long time to wean Chanel, whose father is rapper and actor Ice-T.

Austin and Ice have been wed since 2002. 

The World Health Organization (WHO) advises continuing to breastfeed for up to two years or longer, while also introducing other foods when a baby reaches six months old.

The influencer shared that breastfeeding often helped Chanel fall asleep, explaining it was mostly about comfort and having her nearby. The reality TV star said Chanel ‘wanted me to be there’ as part of her bedtime routine.

Austin explained she would let Chanel stop whenever she wanted. She said, ‘Chanel won’t be doing this forever – she’ll realize it’s a bit odd and stop herself. That’s what happened, around age six.’

In 2021, when Chanel was five years old, her mother, Austin, stated she didn’t want to stop breastfeeding her.

As a big fan, I was so touched to hear that working on ‘Ice and Coco’ actually helped Coco during the really difficult time of the coronavirus pandemic. It was a comfort to her, and honestly, that makes me love the show even more!

Austin shared with Us Weekly that her mother, Chanel, still compliments her breasts, calling it a special way for them to connect.

She questioned why anyone would deny her the opportunity, explaining, ‘If she doesn’t want it, then that’s fine, but I won’t simply refuse without letting her decide for herself.’

Back in 2000, she shared some heartfelt advice: ‘When things feel overwhelming, cherish and accept all the love you can get!’

Austin explained that Chanel does eat solid food and isn’t solely reliant on breast milk for nutrition, though she does breastfeed to help her calm down.

She explained that the baby is nursing mostly for comfort now, but reassured me that the little girl enjoys solid food and is definitely getting enough to eat.

I appreciate everyone who understands where I’m coming from. It means a lot to see so many of you support me, and I’m sending good vibes your way too. There’s a special connection between moms.

Austin has shared that she’ll be heartbroken when she has to finish breastfeeding, as she cherishes the close connection it gives her with her daughter.

She shared that she was receiving a call from her mother and expressed how grateful she was for the incredible journey of becoming a nurse.

Breastfeeding was really difficult for me during the first week after Chanel was born. I almost stopped, but my family encouraged me to keep trying for another week.

Someone advised me not to miss experiencing these special years with my child, both for her health and our connection. I persevered, and now, almost four years later, my daughter, Chanel, still enjoys breastfeeding.

Nursing has become more of a comforting routine for us now, and she eats solid foods regularly, but our special bonding time happens during naps and bedtime. I feel very lucky she still enjoys it, because I know I’ll be heartbroken when she eventually stops. It’s such a wonderful feeling, and any mother who breastfeeds understands exactly what I mean.
