Coachella posts set times, with Ed Sheeran and Weezer added
The Coachella Music and Arts Festival released its performance schedules for both weekends, featuring an updated dose of modern guitar music popular among millennials.
At the festival where Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott are still confirmed headliners, Weezer has been added as an additional act on the first weekend (April 11-13). They will perform in the Mojave Tent at 3:10 p.m. on the Saturday. The band has been touring and playing their classic self-titled (“Blue”) debut LP in its entirety, so it’s likely they’ll be showcasing new songs too as they haven’t released a full album since 2021’s “Van Weezer” and the series of “SZNZ” EPs in 2022.

30 years following the launch of their first studio album, known as the Blue Album, the bandmates of Weezer disclose the story behind its creation.
During the second weekend of the festival (April 18-20), there will be an early evening performance by the renowned folk-pop artist Ed Sheeran at 3 p.m on that Saturday in the Mojave area. Recently, Sheeran released “Azizam,” a new single from his upcoming eighth album, “Play.” Although he’s arguably the most mainstream singer-songwriter to perform at Coachella since Jack Johnson, he’s still a big act playing on one of Coachella’s smaller stages – possibly the smallest California set he’s played since his recent casino performance.

Music
At this year’s Coachella festival, our team witnessed some incredible moments – from Paris Hilton enjoying a game of cornhole during Vampire Weekend’s performance to No Doubt’s exciting reunion. Here are the highlights!
The festival had some flexibility in its schedule, since FKA Twigs recently announced the cancellation of her North American shows in April, scheduled for this spring, due to visa issues.
These additions have been following a trend where the opening and supporting acts are performing at the eleventh hour, very early in the festival. Some previous Coachella events featured Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend, and a nearly-reunited Fugees during YG Marley’s performance during the daytime.
