This week, Yung Lean announced that he will soon be publishing his first book titled “256 GB“. As the name suggests, this book collects an astonishing 256 gigabytes of data from Yung Lean’s iPhone storage spanning the years 2014 to 2024. Inside, you’ll find a mix of selfies, screenshots, jotted notes, and other unguarded photos.
The book encompasses a total of 574 images and 594 pages, organized into nine distinct sections, each identified by a specific color code. Each section is approximately 50 pages long: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, black, and white.
The book is enclosed in a sleek black hardcover case, featuring bold red lettering and a coordinating ribbon. Inside, you’ll find the title page, where Lean has meticulously listed the various iPhone models he used to capture the images within: iPhone 6, 8, X, and SE with a storage capacity of 256 GB each. Following this is an overview of the chapters in sequential order, along with a comprehensive table of contents detailing every image featured in the book. Some of the titles you’ll encounter are “F*ck You,” “Holy Trinity,” “Air Jordan 12,” and “Boy life in EU.
In conclusion, Lean pens a message saying: “I own many phones and tend to misplace them often. I reside more in hotels than homes. It’s as if I’m accumulating these photos and memories. I wish it serves as a larger snapshot of my life and possibly instills some inspiration and love within others. This is the purpose behind my actions.
Have a detailed inspection of certain webpages within the gallery (amounting to 256 GB) and seize the opportunity to own a copy, as they are currently for sale on Lean’s worldaffairs site.
