Following the Riyadh Masters 2024, this event will bring together ten incredible teams in a fierce competition for their slice of the impressive $500,000 prize pool. Teams competing in the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational

Ten teams have received invitations to participate in this tournament, among them are well-known Dota 2 teams like Team Spirit and Xtreme Gaming. Notably, Team Zero, a new team from China, will make their LAN debut in The International 2024 after triumphing over Azure Ray in qualifiers.

Note: Team Secret and nouns have withdrawn from this tournament, so it is now a ten-team event.

Tournament format

In this tournament, there are two primary parts: the Group Phase and the Playoffs. As per the tournament’s administrator, no teams will be knocked out during the Group Phase.

The opening round begins on July 28th and continues for three consecutive days. This phase consists of two groups, each containing five teams. In all contests, a deciding third match is necessary.

The playoff will use double-elimination system, start on Aug. 1 in LAN, and end on Aug. 4.

As a long-time Dota 2 fan and follower of the competitive scene, I can confidently say that this year’s tournament has been particularly exciting for me. With most top-tier CN teams participating, such as the newcomer sensation, Team Zero, making their debut at The International 2024, and seasoned veterans like Team Spirit gracing us with their presence once again, I feel a sense of anticipation that’s hard to describe.
